  1. goal

GOAL Ayr United 1-2 Falkirkpublished at 16:03 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Lawrence Shankland

Ayr are back in the game and, not surprisingly, it's that man Lawrence Shankland.

The striker bags his 13th goal of the season. Will it be unlucky for the visitors?

  2. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:03 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

It's the normal staggered start to the second 45s around the country.

It's been goals galore, will there be more?

  3. Falkirk are flying!published at 16:01 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    HT: Ayr United 0-2 Falkirk

    Kenny Crawford
BBC Sport Scotland at Somerset Park

The Bairns are bossing it. That’s a phrase we’ve not heard too often this season for a Falkirk team foundering at the bottom of the Championship.

But well taken goals by on-loan Rangers 18-year-old Zak Rudden and Deimantas Petravicius have Ray McKinnon’s men in control and looking to bag their first points of the campaign in the manager's first league game in charge.

  4. Clinical Rangerspublished at 16:00 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    HT: Rangers 3-0 Dundee

The stats tell their own story at Ibrox. Dundee have had almost as many efforts as Rangers but are yet to hit the target.

Rangers have just been much more ruthless.

  7. No concerns for Leveinpublished at 15:58 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

HT: Motherwell 0-1 Heart of Midlothian

So far there's been no need for Hearts manager Craig Levein, making his recovery from a health scare, to come down from his vantage point int the Fir Park stand.

Steven Naismith's goal after a defensive plunder has the visitors heading for a five-point lead at the top of the Premiership.

  10. HALF-TIME Rangers 3-0 Dundeepublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

A comfortable lead for Rangers at the break and it could have been more for Steven Gerrard's side.

Dundee have had their efforts at goal, but losing a third on the stroke of half-time is a big blow for the bottom side.

  12. HALF-TIME Motherwell 0-1 Heart of Midlothianpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

They say goals change games, and that point was proven emphatically at Fir Park. Motherwell were the better team against the league leaders in the early stages, but that sloppy back pass from Carl McHugh not only resulted in the opener but contributed to goalkeeper Trevor Carson's early exit through injury.

Motherwell have still been plugging away but their final ball has been lacking. Still a long way to go here, but Hearts in control.

  13. HALF-TIME St Johnstone 1-0 Aberdeenpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Alasdair Lamont
BBC Sport Scotland at McDiarmid Park

It's been a very even game at McDiarmid Park, with both teams looking dangerous at times.

Saints look a better team this season than they did in finishing eighth last term. The speed of Drey Wright and Matty Kennedy on the wings and a promising-looking partnership blooming between Tony Watt and David McMillan, allied to a well-organised defence, is credit to Tommy Wright

    John Barnes
BBC Scotland at Easter Road Stadium

Another entertaining first half between these two teams, with players trying to out do each other with the standard of goals.

Stevie Mallan set that standard with a terrific free-kick from 26 yards.

David Gray entered the goal of the match competition with a brilliant header from a Mallan corner kick.

Eamonn Brophy got Killie back into it with a terrific team goal before Greg Stewart showed he too can hit a beautiful curler into the top corner to equalise from 22 yards. Great stuff!

  15. HALF-TIME Livingston 1-0 Hamilton Academicalpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

A sensational goal separates the teams at the end of a turgid half of football.

Steven Lawless hammered home a phenomenal left-foot strike from the right angle of the penalty box after just three minutes.

There haven't really been any other chances to speak of. Dolly Menga has been a lively presence in the Livi attack, while Lawless flashed a near-post header wide.

Accies have struggled to get going and carve out any clear-cut opportunities.

  16. Frustrating for Dundeepublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Rangers 2-0 Dundee

After Kharl Madianga has a shot blocked for Dundee, Scott Arfield is denied his first Rangers goal by Elliot Parish.

Elton Ngwatala follows Dundee team-mate Cammy Kerr into the book and then another Madianga effort is stopped by Connor Goldson.

    Greg Stewart

Another great goal in a brilliant game at Easter Road.

Greg Stewart, back to the form he showed at Dundee, collects a lay-off on the edge of the box and curls a lovely left-foot shot into the top-left corner.

  18. CLOSE!published at 15:42 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Hibernian 2-1 Kilmarnock

Stevie Mallan is full of confidence at the moment and tries his luck from 25 yards. This time the Hibs midfielder's right-foot effort drifts narrowly wide of the left-hand post.

Killie hit back instantly and might have a leveller, but Hibs goalkeeper Adam Bogdan is out quickly to deny Eamonn Brophy with his feet.

  19. Chances at Ibroxpublished at 15:41 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Rangers 2-0 Dundee

Ryan Kent is denied a second by Dundee goalkeeper Elliot Parish before the visitors threaten themselves with captain Kenny Miller setting up Elton Ngwatala for a shot that is deflected wide.

The hosts are not sitting on their lead, while Dundee will take some encouragement from that Ngwatala chance.

  20. Well shaken but not stirredpublished at 15:41 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Motherwell 0-1 Hearts

The double blow of losing such a poor goal and goalkeeper Trevor Carson has unsurprisingly knocked Motherwell off their stride.

The home side are trying to pass their way back into this game, but Hearts have upped their game thanks to that man Steven Naismith.
