Making his debut in charge of St Mirren after Alan Stubbs was sacked, the former Coleraine boss led his team to a draw at home to Brendan Rodgers' reigning champions, Celtic.
Known for some off-the-wall methods, Kearney had brought in a magician to help ease his players' pre-match nerves.
