The real good chances Spurs have had through Moura and Son, if they'd fallen to Harry Kane, Spurs would be 3-0 up. He has another 45 to get on the scoresheet though.

It's been a brave display from Neil Warnock's Bluebirds, the second half is under way, can Cardiff get a result at Wembley?

Chris: Element of fortune about circumstances leading to Dier's first PL goal in 18 months. Spurs have probed throughout, Moura missed glorious chance. But spells where Cardiff have looked handy. Murphy pace/Paterson presence causing concern.

Kyle: Fair play to Cardiff at least they are having a good go. They are well in this game great effort from them so far. I wish more teams would have a go against the top sides. They have nothing to lose.

If Claudio Ranieri was The Tinkerman, what should we call Eddie Howe?

Imer: Do a Burnley? Bournemouth will do a Leicester this season! What a breath of fresh air. A lovely, well-run team.

Martin: As a Cherries fan, I'm seriously worried about losing Eddie now. Bournemouth aren't just playing well for Bournemouth they look like a Champions League side

    Burnley 1-0 Huddersfield

Huddersfield may not have scored (again) but they did have 10 shots in the first half. A marked improvement. Burnley only had two.

Admitteldy, not a single effort from the Terriers was on target but...

That glass of yours is seriously half-empty Adam. Not sure what it'd take to make you a more confident Bournemouth fan right now?!

Maybe if Watford played the second half blind-folded?

Could be worse, you could be a Watford fan today...

Phil: As soon as I check up on how Everton are doing, Leicester score. Good grief. I'll wait until 6pm before I look again.

    Paul Ince

Bournemouth always show they can score goals at home, but my issue was could they score on the road? It's been a great start to this game, and Watford have to be careful not to get a pummeling.

    Tottenham 1-0 Cardiff

    Pat Nevin

Cardiff have been brave, much braver than we were led to believe. Spurs have had great chances with Son and Moura but Cardiff have had theirs too and it's the Murphy chance which will scare Pochettino the most.

    Game over.

The Cherries make their man advantage count as Callum Wilson floats a cross deep into the box for Joshua King to head across the diving keeper and in.

Can't see any way back for Watford now.

Another big chance for Spurs - Son again breezes past a defender with real ease but as he moves into the area he leans back and slams a shot way over the bar.

Any pubs willing to change their name to The Eddie Howe?

Paddy: Two weeks ago, I asked if Bournemouth are going to do a Burnley this season? It is increasingly looking likely! Hard to predict who will finish higher in the league table - Bournemouth & Wolves.
