Not quite a shot on target but good play - David Luiz lofts a pass over the packed City defence, Eden Hazard is inside the area but wide right and he hits a volleyed cross right across the goalmouth but Ederson pouches it before Gonzalo Higuain can get there.

Sharp feet from Callum Hudson-Odoi to get away from two City defenders and find Eden Hazard but for once his touch is not good enough and the ball gets away from him.

Here is Gonzalo Higuain on for Willian, so Eden Hazard will shuffle across one to the left. Bold move.

Chelsea felt they were on the rise at the end of normal time and City were on the ropes a little bit. Now from the restart they've sat right back into that rhythm, with City on the ball and Chelsea happy to just be sitting in.

Ilkay Gundogan screws a shot wide from about 30 yards as City again find no way through the Chelsea lines. Gonzalo Higuain appears to be coming on for Chelsea.

Danilo has slotted right into that role at the base of the City midfield as City start extra time with a methodical tempo.

Chelsea fans have been calling for a change. They've come up against the best football side in England today and limited them to zero chances.

With the pace they have up front, you can't help but feel Chelsea might just win this one.

I don't think you can help but look at this and see Sarri's players are playing for him and he's figured out a way to make his team much more difficult to beat. If anything in the second half they looked the side more likely to take the lead
