The movement of the Juventus front three has been a joy to watch, unless you are a Manchester United fan, obviously.

Cristiano Ronaldo has spent most of his time on the left but he seems to have the licence to wander wherever he wants - and he was surging down the right flank to set up his side's goal, with Juan Cuadrado bursting forward inside him to get on the end of his cross at the near post and help it on to Paulo Dybala.

United are struggling to cope, to put it mildly.

  5. 'United have got work to do'published at 20:53 British Summer Time 23 October 2018

    Man Utd 0-1 Juventus

    Phil Neville
Former England & Man Utd defender on BBC Radio 5 live

Romelu Lukaku hasn't had any service and that's what he needs in the second half.

United have got a lot of work to do and need to go for it like they did against Chelsea and Newcastle.

Juventus have had all the possession, all the composure and all the chances.

Not the good news is United have been a second half team recently so it could be all to come from them.

Juventus have killed the crowd and look so comfortable.

Mr Alzz: Every time a Utd player receives the ball they have to lift their head to assess the field. Juve players seem to know instinctively where to pass. So what is it: coaching, confidence, lack of ability?

Kevin De Bruyne so far in this super Manchester City display in what is his first start since May due to a lengthy injury lay-off:

    - Possession lost 10 times (joint worst in the side with Raheem Sterling)

    - Pass completion of 71% (worst in City side)

    - But, crucially, one assist

    He's just getting warmed up.

    Man Utd 0-1 Juventus

Juventus in control of the ball, every pass is into the right area with the precise amount of pace on it.

Uruguay midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur knocks the wind out of Luke Shaw with a shot into his midriff and then goalscorer Paulo Dybala curls a shot inches wide from the edge of the box.

    Phil Neville
Former England & Man Utd defender on BBC Radio 5 live

All of a sudden United look like they are going to do something and are stringing some passes together.

But Juan Cuadrado, Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala are causing United all kinds of problems.

  14. GREAT DOUBLE SAVE!published at 20:41 British Summer Time 23 October 2018

    Man Utd 0-1 Juventus

Cristiano Ronaldo steps up and smashes an effort with his laces which is about to knock David de Gea off his feet.

The Spaniard palms the ball into the danger area and Blaise Matuidi swings a foot at the follow up, but again De Gea is in the right place to tip the ball away.

Excellent goalkeeping - again - from the Spaniard.

Rachel T: One way Italian traffic in Manchester.

Josh Hammond: United back to normal so far... Chasing the game early. No leadership. No teeth up top. Lukaku is a good striker but if he isn't getting the service he's not going to get the chances to score.

  20. Dzeko scores again for Romapublished at 20:36 British Summer Time 23 October 2018

A mistake by Hoffenheim skipper Kevin Vogt gifted Lyon the opener in their Group F match but Andrej Kramaric has just equalised with a volley at the far post - it's 1-1.

The opening goal came after the defender failed to read a pass from keeper Oliver Baumann which allowed Bertrand Traore to nip in and score.

Last year's beaten semi-finalists Roma have taken the lead against Group G rivals CSKA Moscow.

The goalscorer? Edin Dzeko, of course.

Stat: Traore becomes the fourth player from Burkina Faso to score a Champions League goal after Yssouf Kone (4), Bakari Kone (1) and Ousmane Sanou (2).
