Superb link-up! Jesse Lingard with the flick to Marcus Rashford, who gives it back and Lingard bursts into the PSG half. He is away from the cover, and would send Anthony Martial in on goal but the Frenchman can't gather it in...

High tempo, zippy passing but I wouldn't say no to a few shots on goal lads. Any chance?

Dennis Ethan: PSG players picking cards so early in the game

I really think that for all the resurgence in players like Pogba & Rashford, Herrera has been outstanding under OGS. He bosses the midfield and even Matic has the freedom to play through balls. So much better!!

PSG haven't been able to get Kylian Mbappe into the game yet - United are defending pretty deep. The last thing you want to do is give thiat man some space to run into.

Nemanja Matic has started the game really well, both in possession and out of possession. He's been really key so far.

Superb from Ashley Young! He gets up in support of the attack and bends in a brilliant cross which is asking to be nutted home, but Presnel Kimpembe does really well this time to twist and flick it away. Fine clearing header!

Nemanja Matic then charges into Dani Alves with a bit of a raised arm, lucky to get away with that? Julian Draxler does not get away with the next foul, a chop on Ander Herrera and he goes in the book.

That was brilliant from Paul Pogba, he just drives into the area.

He always finds himself maneuvering himself past the defender but he couldn't quite get the ball to Jesse Lingard or Marcus Rashford.

United attacking almost exclusively down their right wing so far, Ashley Young can't get a cross away though. The home fans find their voices to sing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's name.

Here's Paul Pogba for the first time, beating his man with ease on the right wing, he gets into the area and his low cross is well claimed by Gigi Buffon.

Superb from Pogba though after a quiet start.

The game's settling down but I think Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will want to keep the tempo high, the French league isn't as fast as the Premier League.

That was very good skill from Marcus Rashford, he just turned his man.

This has been the only frosty welcome for Paul Scholes (left) at Oldham - being exposed to the elements at Boundary Park.

He's making his managerial debut against Yeovil in the League Two match, and it's still 0-0 after 22 minutes.

    Man Utd 0-0 PSG

Manchester United have been in the lead for just 57 minutes in the Champions League all season. That's not great, and neither's that from Gigi Buffon, shanking a crossfield pass clean out of play.

They didn't have to play out from the back in his day.

PSG attack again though, Angel di Maria puts in a cross and Luke Shaw is strong at the back post to shut out Dani Alves.

First booking of the night - Presnel Kimpembe chops down Marcus Rashford on halfway.

PSG coach Thomas Tuchel has already had one or two moments of high anxiety, waving his arms in fury on two occasions as his team concede cheap possession in midfield.

Tuchel wants to make a big impression on the Champions League. This is the trophy PSG's mega-rich owners want above all.

There is a large delegation from Molde at tonight's game.

It must be a bit of a weird situation for the Norwegian club.

They have close ties to Manchester United and with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in charge, they will want the hosts to win.

But they also know if United achieve that, it takes them a step closer towards needing a new manager.
