Nemanja Matic has started the game really well, both in possession and out of possession. He's been really key so far.

Superb from Ashley Young! He gets up in support of the attack and bends in a brilliant cross which is asking to be nutted home, but Presnel Kimpembe does really well this time to twist and flick it away. Fine clearing header!

Nemanja Matic then charges into Dani Alves with a bit of a raised arm, lucky to get away with that? Julian Draxler does not get away with the next foul, a chop on Ander Herrera and he goes in the book.

That was brilliant from Paul Pogba, he just drives into the area.

He always finds himself maneuvering himself past the defender but he couldn't quite get the ball to Jesse Lingard or Marcus Rashford.

United attacking almost exclusively down their right wing so far, Ashley Young can't get a cross away though. The home fans find their voices to sing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's name.

Here's Paul Pogba for the first time, beating his man with ease on the right wing, he gets into the area and his low cross is well claimed by Gigi Buffon.

Superb from Pogba though after a quiet start.

The game's settling down but I think Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will want to keep the tempo high, the French league isn't as fast as the Premier League.

That was very good skill from Marcus Rashford, he just turned his man.

PSG coach Thomas Tuchel has already had one or two moments of high anxiety, waving his arms in fury on two occasions as his team concede cheap possession in midfield.

Tuchel wants to make a big impression on the Champions League. This is the trophy PSG's mega-rich owners want above all.

Marcus Rashford goes close! Testing out the reflexes of old man Buffon in nets for PSG, it's a cross/shot from the right which nicks off the foot of Juan Bernat and Buffon has to be aware to save at his near post. He does as well.

It must be a bit of a weird situation for the Norwegian club.

They have close ties to Manchester United and with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in charge, they will want the hosts to win.

But they also know if United achieve that, it takes them a step closer towards needing a new manager.

We just had a little glimpse of the speed and quality of the PSG counter-attack, especially if Manchester United lose the ball in midfield.

Lovely football PSG! Patiently building up from side to side, Marco Verratti tees up Angel di Maria and he whips a 20-yarder a shade wide of the top corner.

The PSG fans are making a superb noise, as they did all night at Anfield earlier this season too.
