It's possibly the hardest thing I've ever done this. So many Tottenham fans down below walking past me looking so happy!

But Spurs fully deserve this win.

Dortmund fell apart under the pressure and the intensity from Tottenham; they just couldn't deal with it.

The first goal came at a brilliant time.

Each man did a little bit more at the start of the second half.

But as a player you will say 'half time' the fans can go off and say what they like but Mauricio Pochettino will have to tell his players it's only 'half time'.

But it will be a tough ask for Dortmund to go on and beat this Tottenham side now.

Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong: "As a team we did well, it was too bad that our goal is rejected. Perhaps something like that is easy to do in favour of the big club, we have also had that.

"But we have continued well and have received our opportunities afterwards. Too bad it did not yield a better result."

Players have to buy in to the process. These players buy into Mauricio Pochettino and what he's doing and believe in the style, from Monday to Friday in training, with the games just a little snippet of what they do.

Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho speaking to BT Sport: "I don't have any words for the second half. We tried our best but they scored and were the better team.

"In the first half we played really well. We dropped a bit and lost focus. We need to keep focused for the whole game.

"Jan Vertonghen is a good player but hopefully next time we can handle it better. I am just happy that I am in England and playing in front of my family.

"I am happy that I am home and I hope I gave the audience something they never knew about me. We will keep believing we can score more than them and hopefully we can get through to the next round."
