It eventually comes to Mo Salah on the right side of the box and he shoves it to his left before drilling a low, curling strike. Marc ter Stegen does well to scramble across and get a hand to it!

Liverpool have looked threatening but they are missing Firmino. He's on the bench and I wonder if we'll see him. They do have another huge game at Newcastle on Saturday night though.

This scoreline isn't too bad for them and they'll keep searching for that away goal.

They can't go too gung-ho though - Barcelona taking 2-0 to Anfield would be a very different story.

The biggest compliment you can pay to Liverpool is that they don't look like an away team.

They are controlling the ball at the Nou Camp. Just look at their average positions.

Sadio Mane uses his pace to get away down the left but his cross is a poor one and bounces out for a throw-in on the far side.

There's so much threat for Liverpool down the channels. Just get it to the front men and let them run!

Jordan Henderson's ball is taken down by Andy Robertson. James Milner then tries to lift it back into the full-back but Sergio Busquets mops up before spinning Milner with a beautiful turn.

Joel Matip then reads the forward pass and pulls off an athletic interception.

Mo Salah gets into the box and lays it off to Georginio Wijnaldum. The midfielder moves it on again to James Milner and he then tries to curl it into the far corner from the left side of the box.

Marc ter Stegen watches it all the way and gets a strong hand to palm it out.

If Liverpool can maintain their intensity then that will really stretch Barcelona.

They are aware of Liverpool's threat on the counter attack and have been making tactical fouls all over the pitch.

They will push to get this away goal.

Lionel Messi really is on fire at the moment isn't he? Every time he has the ball he looks dangerous.

He doesn't like it when the Liverpool players get physical with him though. Andy Robertson and James Milner have enjoyed a few big hits.

Hugo Flaxman: Not seen Barcelona this rattled for a long time. They have forgotten how it feels to be outplayed and are starting to lose their composure. Half time came at the wrong time for a Liverpool.

Stuart, Huddersfield: As a United supporter I recognise the quality in Liverpool and hope they give Barca a good tanking!

For the record, if I was playing against my former club in a Champions League semi-final, I'd celebrate!

I'm not sure Barcelona deserve to be ahead.

Liverpool have had more attempts but not on target. They've looked great on the counter-attack and have been terrific tonight.

Van Dijk could have possibly done better for the goal but maybe the ball from Alba and Suarez's run were too good.
