Once again, Tottenham have been wasteful in that final third. It's a good run by Danny Rose and it opened up for him but it was a poor final pass.

Liverpool came back to draw 3-3, and lifted the trophy on penalties. The result goes down as a draw.

I've no doubt Ajax will be underdogs at the bookies for the final. But as they have beaten Real Madrid, Juventus and look like beating Tottenham comfortably I don't imagine they'll be too bothered...

You can dissect the errors from Tottenham for the second Ajax goal - Kieran Trippier and Victor Wanyama don't cover themselves in glory again - but be on the right side of history and just enjoy the Ajax attack and finish.

There is contact in the build-up to that opening goal but I don't think Jan Vertonghen was ever going to get to Matthijs de Ligt.

The last team to come from at least two goals down at half-time in a Champions League match was Roma (v Bayern Munich) in November 2010 - No English side has ever done so.
