Arsenal
Speaking to BT Sport, Arsenal manager Unai Emery said: "I am very proud of the players and the supporters. The players did all they could and we can be proud of the whole club."
On his past success in this tournament: "The past is for experience and can be used in the present. It is very difficult to play in finals and we took our opportunity today which we are happy about.
"We knew we had to be calm after they scored and we needed to control our emotions. It is very difficult to score four goals against this team because they are very organised. It gave us confidence to score quickly we know our strikers are taking chances."
There are more non-English teams in the Premier League than there are in the Europa League and Champions League finals.

Julian: So both finals are Premier league matches that we've seen twice already this season. Stoked about it of course - but little bit of glamour gone?
Adam, Darlington: Best league in the world. Without question.
Damien: Wow! Two all English finals for European silverware. Regardless of your club loyalty it is a great advert for the English football. This has truly been a remarkable season.
There are currently no direct scheduled flights between London and Baku in the week of the final.
If you want to fly to the game on the day then a lengthy wait in somewhere like Istanbul or Kiev would be needed.
The quickest journey by air on the day of the final takes six hours 55 minutes, with the majority lasting more than 10 hours.
The only way to fly direct to Baku for the game would be to leave London on the Saturday beforehand and return a week later, three days after the trophy has been lifted.
It takes more than four days to travel from London to Baku on the train and involve 11 changes and a two-day train from Kharkiv in Ukraine to Baku.
To drive takes 58 hours. Without breaks.

Ex-Liverpool defender on Radio 5 Live
Cesar Azpilicueta did not look confident when he stepped up but it was completely different when Jorginho and Eden Hazard took theirs.
Kepa saved two penalties in that shootout. Just as well Chelsea didn't have a fifth sub to make.

The Bridge is kicking off and the fans are absolutely loving it. If you want one man to send you to a European final, it is Eden Hazard.
He stepped up and slotted it into the corner and Chelsea go to Baku.
That's two all-English European finals.
It's Chelsea v Arsenal in Baku on Wednesday, 29 May in the Europa League final.
It's Tottenham v Liverpool in Madrid on Saturday, 1 June in the Champions League final.
Eden Hazard scores the winner! It's Chelsea v Arsenal in the Europa League final.
Eden Hazard
It could be his last kick of a football at Stamford Bridge and what a kick it is - Hazard makes no mistake and Chelsea are on their way to Baku!
That was the guy who came on for the shootout! Eden Hazard to win it...
Goncalo Paciancia
Redemption for Kepa! Vilified for his antics in the Carabao Cup final, he flings to his left this time to save.
We're all level again going into the final two kicks.
David Luiz
A fast bowler's run-up from Luiz - and scores. Confident from the Brazilian.
All square.
Martin Hinteregger
Wow!
Never seen a penalty save like that. Hinteregger smashes it left-footed straight down the middle, but Kepa stands still and almost kneels on the ball.
Back in it!
Jorginho
And he scores!
It's a weird way to take a penalty - a hop and a skip, but it goes in and that's all that matters.
Jonathan de Guzman
Watches the keeper dive and picks the other corner. Pressure on Jorginho, who missed in the Carabao Cup final...
Cesar Azpilicueta
The Chelsea skipper goes low to the keeper's left - and it's tipped around the post by Kevin Trapp.
Advantage Frankfurt.
