  5. 'You can practice all you want'published at 22:39 British Summer Time 9 May 2019

    Chelsea 1-1 Eintracht Frankfurt

    Karen Carney
England women's winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

I don't think people appreciate how difficult penalties are. You can practice all you want but you cannot replicate playing in front of thousands of people under fatigue with the pressure on. You have to stick with where you are going to put it and hope it goes in.

  6. 'Lapse in concentration'published at 22:39 British Summer Time 9 May 2019

Chelsea 1-1 Eintracht Frankfurt (2-2 agg)

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Liverpool defender on Radio 5 Live

I didn't think it was a foul. I think it was poor by the goalkeeper who had a lapse in concentration but gets away with it.

BenScoffin Would love to know why Giroud and Loftus-Cheek were substituted. 2-2 agg and you take off the top goal scorer and one of the games best performers for an unfit has-been and a never has-been. Oh, Chelsea.

RobCunningham97 Penalties is too much stress.... and I would not be confident with the way the players look tonight

Colemans_Dream Whatever the outcome of this Chelsea game is, it’s been a great game to watch. Frankfurt are a very decent side. Now it’s time for one of my favorite things though. Pens when I don’t care who wins. Cracking.

David Luiz and Jorginho missed penalties in the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City. Will they take kicks tonight?

Penalties were pretty much the only thing missing from the Champions League games.

Penalties will decide whether we get two all-English European finals. Or will it be Arsenal v Eintracht Frankfurt in Baku?
