Wales have earmarked the Chelsea teenager as a centre-back in the long-term for a while, but this is his first senior international appearance there, having previously played in central midfield.

David - Absolutely gutted for Paul Dummett from both a Welsh and Newcastle point of view. Had a very good half an hour and belongs in a Wales shirt.

  11. Half time verdictpublished at 20:39 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2018

    Danny Gabbidon
Former Wales defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

For me the issue hasn’t been Wales with the ball – they’ve been very good - it’s without the ball. I’m not sure what they’re doing with regard pressing – they’re not really pressing high. They’re sitting off but still being picked off. That’s something Ryan Giggs will have to address at half time.

Everything Wales are doing well going forward is coming from David Brooks. He's at the centre of everything, just like Christian Eriksen is for Denmark

It's a great goal for Denmark, great movement and great play from them. It's fantastic movement and a good finish. James Chester will be disappointed, he did not get there quickly. That's the difference in international football. We have a back four all playing in the Championship.
