We can't believe Gareth Bale hasn't scored. He leaps like a salmon and we were all on our feet thinking it was a goal, but he headed wide

Gareth Bale has a great opportunity to open the scoring but it's defended well by Denmark.
Was it a corner? Not according to the referee who points for a goal kick.

Denmark are just starting to find that extra man in midfield and putting Wales under pressure. Aaron Ramsey is going to need to drop in a little deeper.

It should be 1-0, simple as that. James Chester with the header but lovely patient play from Wales down the right hand side involving Ramsey and Brooks.
It’s a brilliant delivery from Brooks and James Chester is up highest, with a free header. It’s inches away.

"You're only here for the money," Wales fans chant to the Danish players.
To those of you who may not remember, the build-up to September's meeting between the two sides was dominated by Denmark's issues off the field.
Their senior players boycotted an earlier friendly in Slovakia over a commercial rights dispute, meaning lower league and futsal players took to the field in their place and lost 3-0.

Former Wales international at the Cardiff City Stadium

Wales 0-0 Denmark
There was a cracking debate between Kevin Ratcliffe (former Everton skipper) and Nia Jones (Arsenal fan) about where Aaron Ramsey should play his football next season.
Perhaps it is not surprising that Kevin thinks Goodison Park would be the ideal destination, whereas Nia feels Ramsey is "too good," to play for Everton.
Wales 0-0 Denmark

Wales have their tails up now.

You can tell that Wales' instruction is to be brave. We are always leaving two players up, even when Denmark have a corner. But that is going to leave space.

Wales have started as if they've not learnt anything from September's defeat in Denmark. Christian Eriksen, scorer of both goals that day, finds space and shoots narrowly over from 20 yards.

That was a spine-tingling a capella rendition of Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau, not least because, without a band or recording, everyone sang at the same pace for once.
The two anthems have been sung and referee Ivan Kruzliak gets us under way at a sell out Cardiff City Stadium.

He scored the winner in a 2-1 win in a European Championship qualifier in Copenhagen in 1998 and repeated the feat 10 years later in a 1-0 friendly win.
