It's a sell-out at Cardiff City Stadium this evening and the crowd has just been treated to a light show to accompany Wales' pre-match favourite song, Kernkraft 400 by Zombie Nation.

It's like being in a massive night club. Without the sticky floors.

  2. Ramsey 'on show' tonight, says Rushpublished at 19:36 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2018

Wales and Liverpool legend Ian Rush says Aaron Ramsey will be looking to impress tonight.

"We know what Aaron can do, and I think he'll have a point to prove.

"He's not playing regular for Arsenal, his contract is up at the end of the season, so he's on show tonight, not just in England but in Europe.

"Hopefully he can put on a good show.

"If them two (Ramsey and Gareth Bale) can turn up, I'm pretty certain we can get the result we need."

  3. Denmark ready for 'final'published at 19:31 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2018

Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen says they're treating tonight's game "like a final".

Victory for Wales will guarantee them a first place finish in Group B4 and a Euro 2020 play-off game should they not qualify automatically.

A draw would give Denmark the chance to top the group when they face Republic of Ireland three days later.

  5. Big performance requiredpublished at 19:27 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2018

    Danny Gabbidon
Former Wales defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

The key to everything is results and if you look at Ryan Giggs’ record so far with this young Welsh team, when they’ve come up against a decent outfit they’ve yet to put in a good performance and win a game.

The Spain game last month didn’t go down too well, Uruguay in the China Cup they didn’t perform well and Denmark away, they lost there.

It’s really important tonight that they get the result and put in a big performance against a top nation.

  7. What's at stake tonight?published at 19:21 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2018

    Wales v Denmark (19:45 GMT)

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at Cardiff City Stadium

The Nations League may seem a complex competition – and, in truth, it is – but tonight's match between Wales and Denmark is a straightforward shootout to decide who will win Group B4.

The team which finishes top of the group will be promoted to the top tier of the Nations League, as well as being guaranteed a play-off to qualify for Euro 2020, should they fail to reach the tournament during the regular qualifying process.

For Wales to win the group, they need victory at Cardiff City Stadium in their fourth and final match of their inaugural campaign.

Denmark, meanwhile, could triumph with a draw, provided they beat the Republic of Ireland at home on Monday.

This is the kind of scenario Uefa had hoped for when European football’s governing body devised the Nations League, which was designed in part to replace the many friendly matches in the international calendar – considered by many to be meaningless.

Victory against Denmark would guarantee a first-place finish and secure promotion to League A, where Wales would face some of Europe's most powerful national sides.
