Barcelona 3-0 Glasgow City
We are back underway in the Mini Estadi. One change made, with Megan Foley coming on for Kirsty Howat.
No changes for Barcelona, but England international Toni Duggan is warming up on the sidelines for the home side.
HT: Barcelona 3-0 Glasgow City
City are out early for the second half, clearly keen to get this one going. But Barcelona are making them wait.
HT: Barcelona 3-0 Glasgow City
Alan Campbell: It was going reasonably well for Scott Booth's side until two quick goals before the interval. Poor defending for the goals it has to be said.
HT: Barcelona 3-0 Glasgow City
Gordon Struth: It's going to get ugly. City were putting everything into clinging on from the beginning and now the match has settled into its true pattern. This could be 6, 7, 8 easily. #BBCSportScot, external
Glasgow City started well, and threatened early. But Barcelona have shown their class since then, though the first two goals will have disappointed head coach Scott Booth from a defensive point of view.
An away goal or two would keep the tie very much alive for the second leg.

Quote MessageIt’s really disappointing. City are perhaps tiring, they’ve not had a lot of the ball and that's tiring. The half time whistle could not come soon enough.

Guijarro, the scorer of Barcelona's third goal, translates into English as "pebble".However, it will feel more like a huge rock has hit Glasgow City. At 1-0 down they were very much in the game. At 3-0 they are begging for the half-time whistle. Have Barcelona already landed the knockout blow.
Patricia Guijarro
In a nightmare three minutes, City concede twice. Lee Alexander saves the initial effort from close range, then the City defence manage to block the rebound. But the ball falls kindly to Patricia Guijarro who manages to wrap her foot around the ball and fire into the net.
Aitana Bonmati
Just moments after she was denied, Aitana Bonmati doubles Barcelona's lead.
Andressa Alves holds off Leanne Ross on the left, cuts back a short ball to Bonmati who is criminally left unmarked in the box, and she easily side foots the ball into the corner.
Barcelona 1-0 Glasgow City
Barcelona cut City open, but Lee Alexander shows why she is Scotland's number one goalkeeper.Aitana Bonmati drifts through one on one with Alexander, but she is out quickly and gets the block in before she can get the shot away.
Barcelona 1-0 Glasgow City
Barcelona get from their own box into the final third at such pace. They are stretching City who are not used to playing on such a large pitch. The hosts are also trying to take pot shots at goalkeeper Lee Alexander every time they see her off her line.

Quote MessageThere’s no need for Glasgow City to panic at all, if they pick the pockets of Barcelona higher up the pitch then who knows, they could get that chance and that away goal.
Barcelona 1-0 Glasgow City
Glasgow City are not a side used to being on the losing side, suffering just four defeats all season.
Two of them have been in cup semi-finals to Hibs, the most recent of which was on Sunday.
The others were the opening Champions League group game to Anderlecht where they went down 2-1, and the 1-0 home defeat to Somatio Barcelona.
In the league, they have a 100% win record outwith a draw with Hibs.

Barcelona 1-0 Glasgow City
You don't mind Barcelona shooting from distance, but when they hit them as well as Patricia Guijarro, Scott Booth will want his defenders closing down the opposition a bit quicker.
She cracks an effort off the top of the crossbar from outside the box. It's another scare for the visitors.
Barcelona 1-0 Glasgow City
City will be kicking themselves at the defending for the goal, but since then they have kept Barcelona at bay. Goalscorer Keira Hamraoui takes aim from distance for the home side but it's almost out of frustration with a deep line of orange shirts proving difficult to cut open.

Quote MessageIf Glasgow city have done their homework they can see that they can get in there, get a goal. Barcelona are a great team but there’s certainly ways City can get to them and hurt them tonight.

If there is any sort of barometer to judge the level of Barcelona and Glasgow City, then a long trip to Kazakhstan might help.
In last season's Champions League, Glasgow City went out in the last 32 to FK Kazygurt. They lost 3-0 away, won 4-1 at home, missed a penalty, and went out on away goals.
Barcelona faced Kazygurt in this season's last 32, losing 3-1 away but winning 3-0 at home.
Kheira Hamraoui
It is Barcelona who take the lead. Keira Hamraoui has time on the edge of the box to drag the ball on her right foot, then lobs over goalkeeper Lee Alexander. Not great defending from City it has to be said. The initial cross from Mariona Caldentey was not cleared, and Hamraoui was given far too much time and space to pick her spot.
Barcelona 0-0 Glasgow City
It is a very encouraging start for Glasgow City. Carly Girasoli and and Kirsty Howat both have efforts blocked as Leanne Ross' free-kick lands in the box and causes problems. But, at the other end Barcelona show their class. Girasoli tries to slow down Andressa Alves but she manages to get her cross in which Mariona Caldentey sends just wide.
