    The key for city is to remember it’s over two legs and it won’t be won or lost tonight hopefully. They’ve got enough experience in there - there’s Leanne Ross, Jo Love - girls who’ve been there and done it before, so hopefully their experience will stand them in good stead tonight.

    Glasgow City goalkeeper Lee Alexander gets her first touch of the ball, and it is an easy save.Patricia Guijarro spins on the ball, showing great skill, but before she can get her shot away Nicola Docherty thumps the ball off her legs in an attempted clearance and it goes straight to Alexander.

    It seems almost a cliche to say it, but Barcelona are knocking the ball about with aplomb which, considering the total football culture of the club, you expect.City are used to attacking and it is the visitors who have the game's first chance. Abbi Grant finds space on the right, but she is too keen to take on the shot early and sends it wide.

    The big news from Catalonia is that there is no Lieke Martens or Toni Duggan in the Barcelona line-up.

    Martens is one of the first women's footballers to be nominated for the Ballon d'Or, missesout altogether, while England international Duggan has to make do with a place on the bench.
