Rangers substitute Eros Grezda might have trouble getting to sleep later after his last-minute miss.

However, his manager was far from downbeat after a goalless draw at home to Spartak Moscow.

Celtic have work to do to stay alive in their Europa League group but do have two home games in their run-in, so it's not all doom and gloom after their loss in Leipzig.

  2. What next?published at 22:21 British Summer Time 25 October 2018

Celtic and Rangers won't have time to reflect on tonight's Europa League performances since they both have massive games coming up on Sunday.

Celtic meet Hearts at Murrayfield, while Rangers take on Aberdeen at Hampden to decide this season's finalists in the League Cup.

Brendan Rodgers is sure to field a stronger side than he did tonight but Hearts are flying at the top of the league and have already beaten the champions this season.

Rangers and Aberdeen drew at Pittodrie and those games are always fiery.

There are a couple of Premiership games on Saturday too, so make sure you join us over the weekend.

"It shows just how far we've come when we are disappointed to take a point off a Champions League team.

"We set out to win the game but we probably lacked that bit of quality in the final third.

"I'd have signed up for five points at this stage but we don't relax. We are halfway through with three tough games to go."

It's the first time Rangers have failed to score at Ibrox this season but they remain unbeaten at home and in Europe.

There will be a tinge of frustration but five points from three games is a more than decent haul for Steven Gerrard's men.

It could have been a whole lot better if Eros Grezda had tucked in that last-gasp shot.
