    This year's FA Cup second round hasn't been a great one for upsets.

    And that trend continues today. All of our non-league sides are currently behind apart from Woking who are keeping it goalless at Swindon.

    The favorites are taking the competition seriously it seems.

    Chesterfield 0-1 Grimsby

    The 1,694 travelling Grimsby fans at the Proact Stadium today will be pleased to see their side dominate their National League opponents.

    Charles Vernam, who opened the scoring, does well down the left wing and crosses low to Wes Thomas who strikes just wide of the mark from close range.

    A lot to do for Chesterfield as it stands.

    You've got to feel sorry for Slough, they dominated all of the first half but they find themselves a goal down.

    In case you've missed all the action in the second-round, here are the highlights of the weekend so far:

    • National League Solihull Moors played out a goalless draw against Blackpool to set up a replay and a place in Monday's third-round draw.
    • Non-league side Maidstone were beaten 2-0 by Oldham, after fellow National League club Halifax lost to Wimbledon in Saturday's early kick-off.
    • Doncaster earned a fine 2-0 win at Charlton, while Accrington, Lincoln, Oxford and Barnsley also booked their places in the third round.
    • Bradford came from 2-0 down to take Peterborough to a replay, while Walsall drew at home to Sunderland.
    • In the late Welsh derby, Wrexham v Newport County finished goalless.

    Swindon have dominated and if it wasn't for Woking goalkeeper Craig Ross they'd be in front.

    The ex-Barnet man does well to reach Jak McCourt's dipping volley.

    Barnet have dominated much of this first half and they should be 2-0 up. Wes Fonguck finds goalscorer Dan Sparkes, who then plays it to Byron Harrison who fires over the bar.

    Well it all started so well for Bury, who really should have taken the lead through Neil Danns earlier.

    However, Luton have made them pay, with Harry Cornick working his way on to a left-wing cross to finish well inside the box.

    It has been all Chesterfield in terms of possession but Grimsby have put a ball into an area that gets flicked on at the near post and Vernam is stood in front of the goalkeeper unmarked.

    It hits his knees but he has the chance to get the second ball as well.

    Bolton loanee Marcus Wood has a long-range effort for Southport which sails over the bar.

    Barnet have come agonisingly close to doubling their advantage at The Hive and Stockport look up against it so far.

    A corner sails into the box and is met by Dan Sweeney who heads goalbound but Sam Minihan heads it right off the line.

    Still goalless at Spotland in this all-League One tie but Portsmouth are doing their best to force an early goal.
