    Bury 0-0 Luton

How on earth has he missed that?! Bury should be 1-0 up, here!

Chris Stokes plays a neat ball to Neil Danns who is through on goal and performs a sumptuous turn to beat his man before somehow firing a low shot wide with just the keeper to beat.

    Incredible.

  2. goal

GOAL: Tranmere 1-0 Southportpublished at 14:20 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2018

    Jonny Smith (17 mins)

What was I just saying about it being pretty even?

A brilliant cross field ball by Liam Ridehalgh is controlled by James Norwood and he passes to Jonny Smith who curls a wonderful effort into the far corner.

    Great finish!

There are 59 league places between Merseyside rivals Tranmere and Southport but it's pretty even after the first quarter.

Southport's Dion Charles comes close through a curling shot from the edge of the area that goes just over.

    Bury 0-0 Luton

Credit to Bury who have started well in their FA Cup tie against in-form League One side Luton Town.

Jay O’Shea runs down the right flank before finding Byron Moore in the box who then tees up Nicky Maynard.

Fortunately for the visitors, goalkeeper James Shea is on hand to deal with his shot.

    Chesterfield 0-0 Grimsby

Oof, agonisingly close to an early goal for the hosts at the Proact Stadium and there's a scramble on the goalline.

Grimsby goalkeeper James McKeown does well to thwart Tom Denton's effort on goal from less than a yard out and eventually it's cleared away.

Good stuff from Martin Allen's side.

  6. ACROBATIC EFFORTpublished at 14:15 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2018

    Slough 0-0 Gillingham

So close for Slough! Peterborough loanee - and former amateur boxer - Mathew Stevens attempts an overhead kick which narrowly clears the crossbar.

Good start from the non-league side.

It's a great bit of wing play. He gave him a few shimmies and put a great ball in.

It was a great header into the far corner by Dan Sparkes - an electric header.

    Tranmere 0-0 Southport

Barnsley loanee Dylan Mottley-Henry has had a great start to the season for Tranmere but this doesn't look good. The winger has gone down with a hamstring injury and is being loaded onto a stretcher.

He'll be replaced by Jonny Smith.

  9. goal

GOAL: Barnet 1-0 Stockportpublished at 14:10 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2018

    Dan Sparkes (8 mins)

Great start for Barnet and they have taken the lead against their National League North opponents.

A right-wing cross from Cheye Alexander falls to Dan Sparkes who does well to beat his marker and head home from close range.

Not the start Stockport will have hoped for.

    Barnet 0-0 Stockport

Barnet are first to put the pressure on in this game as Wes Fonguck forces a defensive header away from Sam Walker.

1,500 Stockport County fans have made the trip down to North London and the hosts are attacking the end with the travelling support.

What a day it would be for the National League North side if they were to force an upset here.

    Slough 0-0 Gillingham

Slough are playing in their eighth FA Cup tie this season - they love a replay!

They're going to have to dig deep today to take on League One's Gillingham. And Gills midfielder Elliott List has already tested Slough goalkeeper Jack Turner, forcing a routine save.

Radio 1 DJ Chris Stark is ready for today. Are you?

This could be one of the games of the round. Stockport fan and Blossoms bassist Charlie Salt told me earlier this week he might pick Stark up from Watford in his minibus on the way to the game.

Celebrities loving the FA Cup. Fabulous.

Believe it or not there are three Merseyside derbies today. Yes, apparently there's the small matter of Liverpool v Everton in the "Premier League" and Everton Women v Liverpool Women in the Women's Super League.

However, our eyes will be focused on the real battle in Merseyside, that of League Two Tranmere Rovers versus National League North side Southport.

Both of these sides last reached the third-round stage of the FA Cup in 2014-15, when Tranmere were defeated 6-2 in an eight-goal thriller against Swansea and Southport lost 1-0 to Derby.

But who's going to come out on top today?

    Swindon v Woking (14:00 GMT)

Laithwaite Community StadiumImage source, Rex Features

In recent times, Woking have been no strangers to this stage of the FA Cup. They have reached the second round in three consecutive seasons.

Last term, they took Peterborough United to a replay which they eventually lost 5-2, while the season before they lost 3-0 to Accrington Stanley.

However, this season Swindon Town are all that stand in their way of a third-round place.

Could the National League South side reach the next round for the first time in over 20 years?

  20. The biggest thing to come to Slough since...published at 13:44 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2018

Slough Town v Gillingham (14:00 GMT)

When most people think of Slough managers it's more The Office's David Brent than Town's Neil Baker and Jon Underwood.

But the pair led the sixth-tier side to a penalty shootout win over National League side Sutton United in the first round.

They now face League One Gillingham, who avoided an embarrassing FA Cup giant-killing by coming back from 2-0 down in a replay to beat Hartlepool 4-3 in extra-time.
