  1. goal

GOAL: Sheff Wed 1-0 Derbypublished at 15:14 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2018

    Adam Reach (12 mins)

Sheff Wed v DerbyImage source, Rex Features

He's made a habit of spectacular strikes has Adam Reach and, while this one wasn't a 30-yard dipping volley, it still took some technique to finish.

Barry Bannan put the winger away, and he picked out the far post from an acute angle to beat Derby's Scott Carson.

  2. goal

GOAL: Preston 2-0 Blackburnpublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2018

    Callum Robinson (10 mins)

If Alan Browne's on an assist bonus, he'll be quids in at this rate.

Again it's his accurate passing which tees up the goal, this time for Callum Robinson, who shrugs off pressure before steering past Raya in the Blackburn goal.

It's the North Enders who are whooping right now in this red rose tussle.

  3. Williams puts Northampton aheadpublished at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2018

In the early kick-off in League Two, Mansfield stretched their unbeaten away record to 13 games thanks to a late equaliser at Lincoln.

Elsewhere, Andy Williams has just put Northampton ahead against Grimsby.

  4. goal

GOAL: Stoke 0-1 QPRpublished at 15:10 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2018

    Angel Rangel (7 mins)

Stoke v QPRImage source, Rex Features

I can't get used to Angel Rangel in blue and white hoops, you feel as though he should have finished his career at Swansea really...

Still, he's a Rangers player now and he's helping his side keep up their remarkable resurgence, heading in from Eberechi Eze's cross.

It's cold at the Bet 365 Stadium at the best of times, but that chill factor will be Baltic right now with that scoreline.

  5. Shrewsbury lead against Wycombepublished at 15:09 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2018

Aaron Amadi-Holloway has given Shrewsbury an early lead against Wycombe.

Goalless elsewhere across the third tier.

  6. It's under waypublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2018

    Hull City 0-0 Nott'm Forest

We are under way at Hull now, despite the initial delay for the injury to Graham Scott.

Joao Carvalho has the first dig for Forest, smashing wide of David Marshall's right post.

  7. goal

GOAL: Preston 1-0 Blackburnpublished at 15:04 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2018

    Tom Barkhuizen (2 mins)

    There we are!

Lancashire hot-pot being stirred nicely at Deepdale, as Alan Browne's square ball is tucked in by Tom Barkhuizen for an early Preston lead.

    Game on.

    Breaking

    Hull City 0-0 Nott'm Forest

Referee Graham Scott is injured... so there's a delayed kick-off at the KCOM Stadium while his replacement is prepared.

    Who'd be a referee?

Here we go. Saturday afternoons were made for this.

Football pie all over our faces, to paraphrase Alan Partridge. No napkins required.

    We're under way.

  12. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:56 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2018

    Lincoln 1-1 Mansfield

Nope, it's all over. Nothing to separate the two promotion chasers in League Two's early kick-off.

The Imps go top, while Mansfield rise to third. For now at least.

  13. goal

GOAL: Lincoln 1-1 Mansfieldpublished at 14:54 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2018

    Jacob Mellis (90+3 mins)

Late drama here at Sincil Bank!

Jacob Mellis equalises for Mansfield with an unstoppable volley from the edge of the area.

We've got two minutes left for both sides to find a winner.

Any chance to get a Go West reference in, I'll take it. One for the teenagers out there.

Sums up this tweet from BBC Radio Derby quite nicely.

  16. Who'd win a fight between an Owl and a Ram?published at 14:48 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2018

Sheff Wed v Derby County (15:00 GMT)

Well, we'll sort of find out today.

Sheffield Wednesday, resplendent with owl on their crest, take on the Rams - Derby County at Hillsborough. Though naturally, we don't advocate fighting and certainly no animal cruelty.

After a decent start, some Wednesday fans might have pondered whether their Owls have gone into hibernation as the nights have drawn in... they've lost four of the past five and haven't won since early October.

Frank Lampard's Derby meanwhile have largely been pretty irresistible, but their home thrashing at the hands of Villa last time out was a shearing of savage proportions.

Form wise, Wednesday have fewer home wins than away, while Derby have won just three on the road. Could be interesting on that score then...

  17. goal

GOAL: Lincoln 1-0 Mansfieldpublished at 14:46 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2018

    Kellan Gordon (85 mins)

Lincoln are going to the top of League Two.

Kellan Gordon finds some space in the Mansfield box and fires the ball into the bottom corner.

  18. Do Leeds have the 1990 steel?published at 14:44 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2018

Leeds United v Bristol City (15:00 GMT)

    David BattyImage source, Getty Images
    Image caption,

Bit of retro beauty being worn by David Batty here. When Umbro kits were polyester gold.

I watched a documentary about Leeds United recently. 'Do You Want To Win?' it was called, and it focused on the job Howard Wilkinson did in getting the club promoted from what is now the Championship in 1990, and then winning the Football League Championship two years later.

The team that went up that year had David Batty and Vinnie Jones anchoring a midfield that also possessed a young Gary Speed and the wily Gordon Strachan.

There's no denying the class of 2018-19 has the quality with Pablo Hernandez, Patrick Bamford and Ezgjan Alioski, but you do wonder whether they could do with a bit of that steel across the middle of the park? They do have a Marcelo Bielsa though, and a great team spirit.

Their 4-1 defeat by West Brom last time out was a painful way to head into the international break. The visit of a Bristol City side without a win in three could be welcomed.

However, Lee Johnson's side have a habit of snatching points from the big boys, having done so against Aston Villa, Brentford, Sheffield United and Swansea amongst others this term.

  19. A Swans sweep, or will the Canaries chirp?published at 14:41 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2018

    Swansea v Norwich (15:00 GMT)

    Mario VrancicImage source, Getty

This is one of the more intriguing encounters of the day, as the pre-weekend leaders take on a side on the fringes of the play-off places.

Daniel Farke has had his fair share of criticism over the past season or so, but it seems his Teutonic tactics have started to click at Norwich.

Their record this season is awesome, with 10 wins, two draws and one defeat in the Championship since late August, while eight goals in their last two games have been spread healthily throughout the squad.

Graham Potter cut his teeth in Sweden but it's Swansea where his methods are also beginning to make their mark. Three wins in the past four are evidence of that and a win could put them in the top six.

  20. Postpublished at 14:40 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2018

    Lincoln 0-0 Mansfield

Ten minutes to go in League Two's early kick-off and there's still nothing to separate the sides.

Lincoln will be heading to the top as it stands.
