    Stoke 0-0 Ipswich

Ipswich's momentum has been halted by injury - but not to one of their own players (or Stoke's for that matter).

The referee's done the standard pulled hamstring type mime, so we can only assume that is in fact what he has done.

Cue the fourth official to do a few toe-touches and a bit of running on the spot and he'll be ready to go.

    Mario Vrancic (39 mins)

    Patience is a virtue!

Max Aarons has time to pass infield to Mario Vrancic, who finishes first time from 20 yards and wrongfoots Bolton keeper Ben Alnwick.

Norwich lead, and with Leeds losing they could be increasing their advantage at the top.

    Stoke 0-0 Ipswich

This might come back to bite me, you know, with Ipswich being bottom of the table - but they're getting close to a breakthrough.

Again it's Jack Lankester as he links up well with Flynn Downes, before curling inches wide of goal.

Could Ipswich boss Paul Lambert be pulling off a shock at his old club just seven months after leaving?

    Norwich 0-0 Bolton

The Championship leaders are having to be patient against this gritty Bolton side.

Mario Vrancic just fired wide for Norwich, with Bolton's Joe Williams giving Jamal Lewis a hard time down the right.

Daniel Farke's side will need to harness some of that Pirates of the Caribbean spirit he's been talking about (see 14:22 GMT post).

  5. CLOSE!published at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Brentford 0-3 Swansea

Credit to Brentford, they're looking for a goal to give them hope before half-time.

Said Benrahma strikes well from the edge of the box with the Swans keeper looking in trouble, but it hits the bar and goes over.

Maybe it's not quite over yet.

  6. Postpublished at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Preston

Preston's Lukas Nmecha has been in the thick of things since coming on as a substitute.

This time he takes a swipe at a clearance which loops onto the roof of his own net.

Keeper Declan Rudd - who made his own clanger last week - could do nothing but watch nervously.

    Wigan 0-1 Derby

Not the kind of manager to sit idly by, Wigan boss Paul Cook makes a double sub to his 10-man team after just half-an-hour.

Gary Roberts and James Vaughan are off, with Callum Connolly and Darron Gibson on.

Could this be a turning point? At the moment, 1-0 is flattering.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Middlesbrough 0-1 Blackburn

Ashley Fletcher's first league start for Boro in more than a year comes to an end after around 30 minutes.

The hosts - down to 10 men after Mo Besic's red - bring midfielder Lewis Wing on in his place.

Disappointment for Sol Campbell, whose Macclesfield side have fallen behind at Colchester in League Two.

League One leaders Portsmouth are cruising against Southend - Pompey are 2-0 up at Fratton Park.

  10. goal

GOAL: Brentford 0-3 Swanseapublished at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Leroy Fer (29 mins)

This one's as good as over.

Leroy Fer - captain for the day - pokes home from close-range after an attempted overhead kick from Oli McBurnie.

Full marks to Wayne Routledge for keeping the ball alive to give McBurnie the chance in the first place.

By the way, Swansea have lost their last three games - crazy.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Preston

A frustrating minute for Preston, who come so close to taking a lead and then see a player go off injured.

Jack Robinson's slip let in Tom Barkhuizen, whose shot was well saved by Forest keeper Costel Pantilimon.

Then winger Brandon Barker is forced off for the visitors, replaced by Lukas Nmecha.

  12. Postpublished at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Stoke 0-0 Ipswich

    This game's hotting up.

Ipswich have gone close several times in the last few minutes, Jack Lankester with the best effort that England keeper Jack Butland tipped on to the post.

But Stoke look just as likely to score, with Tom Ince a constant menace - his latest effort going narrowly over from close range.

  13. goal

GOAL: Leeds 0-1 QPRpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Nahki Wells (26 mins)

    Where did that come from?!

We know what Nahki Wells is capable of at this level and totally against the run of play the QPR striker beats Pontus Jansson before shooting low into the far corner.

Leeds and Elland Road can't quite believe how that happened.

GOAL: Brentford 0-2 Swanseapublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Chris Mepham OG (24 mins)

Swansea double their lead as Brentford defender Chris Mepham diverts a left-wing cross into his own net.

A real mountain to climb for Brentford now.

  15. goal

GOAL: Millwall 1-1 Hullpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Lee Gregory (22 mins)

Millwall are back level against Hull with a goal from Lee Gregory.

The striker heads home from James Meredith's cross to equalise.

  16. goal

GOAL: Middlesbrough 0-1 Blackburnpublished at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Charlie Mulgrew (21 mins)

Middlesbrough down to 10 men and behind in a space of a few seconds!

Mo Besic hauls down Bradley Dack when through on goal and is given a straight red card.

From the resulting free-kick Charlie Mulgrew curls a lovely shot over the wall and into the corner to put Blackburn ahead.

  17. CLOSE!published at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Norwich 0-0 Bolton

Marco Stiepermann has been a livewire for Norwich.

The midfielder forces Bolton keeper Ben Alnwick into a save and the rebound falls to teenage full-back Max Aarons, whose effort is blocked.

Plenty going on at Carrow Road, but still goalless.

  18. goal

GOAL: Wigan 0-1 Derbypublished at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Jack Marriott (21 mins)

Back in the side this afternoon and Jack Marriott is on the scoresheet for Derby.

The corner's whipped in by Jayden Bogle, and Wigan's defence can't stop Marriott heading home.

The Latics are down to 10 men already remember, so this could be a long afternoon.

  19. Postpublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Brentford 0-1 Swansea

An early blow for Swansea after a dream start, and a real worry for Martin Olsson.

The Swedish defender is carried off on a stretcher after receiving five minutes of treatment at Griffin Park, with Connor Roberts replacing him.

The Swans lead at Brentford after scoring inside 30 seconds, but they'll really need to refocus now.

  20. Postpublished at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Preston

Not much to report at the City Ground thus far.

Forest put a decent one-touch move together but it culminates in Tendayi Darikwa shooting just wide.

Preston's unbeaten run was ended last time out, while Aitor Karanka's side are also on good form.
