  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:40 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2018

    Huddersfield 1-0 Brighton

    The dodgy tackles keep coming.

This time it's Brighton captain Bruno who comes sliding in on Terence Kongolo, missing the ball completely and taking out the player. He gets a yellow for it.

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2018

    Man City 1-0 Bournemouth

Save! Ederson called into action for the first real time and he has to be sharp too. Joshua King puts over a teasing cross from the left, England new boy Callum Wilson gets the merest of touches to it, he's only a few yards away from Ederson, but the Brazilian stands up well and pushes it clear. Very good stop.

Actually, on second viewing Wilson didn't touch it at all. Would have been a goal for King.

  3. CLOSE!published at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2018

    Leicester 2-0 Watford

Watford quickly counter and Isaac Success uses his strength superbly to hold off several challenges and make his way into the box.

He is under pressure as he shoots but Kasper Schmeichel makes himself big and the shot is fired over the bar.

    A failed attempt from Success.

Mzalendo: Other teams will catch up with Man City once Pep leaves. Sorry to say but its a fact

Johnny Magrinho; Fernandinho is underrated? I’ve heard plenty of pundits on multiple channels on both TV and radio discussing - correctly - how integral he is to the City team. Maybe these people tweeting are too focussed on the opinions of Fantasy Football experts or something?

  5. Man City still searching for a secondpublished at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2018

    Man City 1-0 Bournemouth

    Chris Bevan
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

Steady drizzle at the Etihad, steady possession for Manchester City too - 70% so far - as Pep Guardiola's side put their usual stamp upon proceedings, with ripples of applause from the crowd following the ball as they spray passes across the field.

Bournemouth are sitting deep and looking to hit the home side on the break. They have had a few threatening moments, but no end product - we are more than half an hour in, and City keeper Ederson has not had a save to make.

  6. CLOSE!published at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2018

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Burnley

Almost a second! But it's too easy, really poor from Burnley. They have six men behind the ball when Max Meyer picks it up just outside the area but nobody gets close enough to prevent him from shifting it on to his left foot and bending a shot which beats Joe Hart but skims wide of the target.

    Burnley need a rocket lighting...

  7. CLOSE!published at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2018

    Leicester 2-0 Watford

James Maddison passes it to his right for Demarai Gray, who has space to charge at the Watford defence on the edge of the area.

Gray's shot isn't as clinical as Maddison's though and it skims wide of the keeper's right post.

  8. Postpublished at 15:35 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2018

    Man City 1-0 Bournemouth

Proper old-fashioned wing play from Raheem Sterling, beating his man and whipping in a ball from deep which flies across the six-yard box before it's well dealt with at the back post.

  10. 'A little bit sloppy'published at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2018

    Manchester City 1-0 Bournemouth

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

In the last two or three minutes City have just given the ball away, a little bit sloppy - Sterling, Silva, Laporte, giving it away cheaply. The ones coming into the team that we wondered if they could step up and play at this level have been brilliant with the desire to play in this team. When they step on to the field they are trying to show the manager they deserve to be out there.

  11. RED CARD - Steve Mounie (32 mins)published at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2018

    Huddersfield 1-0 Brighton

    Oh dear.

Huddersfield's Steve Mounie comes crashing straight into Yves Bissouma and his studs go over the Brighton midfielder's ankles.

Now, what difference will this make?

  12. Postpublished at 15:31 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2018

    Leicester 2-0 Watford

Will Hughes has hardly seen the ball but he gets a small glimpse of goal when he's played through the middle.

Kasper Schmeichel is quick off his line though and Hughes is given no time to get his shot away.

  13. Postpublished at 15:31 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2018

    Newcastle 0-1 West Ham

Ayoze Perez has another poor miss for his Christmas collection. It's a great ball to find him on the left of the area, free and with time. He never has any conviction though, never looked like scoring on his left foot and ends up dragging a shot tamely wide of goal. Jeers all round...

Philip Billing climbs high to head the ball in midfield and ends up clattering into a team-mate before taking a nasty fall.

He's back on his feet now but certainly felt that!

  15. Postpublished at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2018

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Burnley

Burnley look really short of confidence, the players are taking the easy option every time out there. They certainly need a win and fast.

Sam Cain: Frustrating to see Burnley behind again, trying to play a style that clearly isn’t working, the fans calling for Dyche out are a bit preventive, we didn’t have a win in 13 last season but in the game we attacked, we scored 4 and won easily, really need a new emphasis

  17. CLOSE!published at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2018

    Leicester 2-0 Watford

Ricardo Pereira is gifted the ball back in the opposition box and he charges through two defenders before firing a shot from the right-hand side.

The angle was always tight but his shot wasn't too far off - firing over the cross bar with pace. Watford are really under the cosh.

Lewis, Manchester: Fernandinho is the most underrated player in the Prem. Best CDM in the league by a country mile. Only competition comes from Kante, but he can't ping a 60-yard pass like Fernandinho can. Massive job replacing him in the next year or two.

  19. Postpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2018

    Man City 1-0 Bournemouth

No real chances since the opening goal. City comfortable in possession but just not quite clicking in the final third.

  20. Postpublished at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2018

    Newcastle 0-1 West Ham

You've got to do better there! Dearie me that is elementary stuff.

Matt Ritchie's corner is a beauty, Ayoze Perez is totally unmarked no more than six yards out, he doesn't even have to jump to meet the ball but shuts his eyes and balloons it over.

    A proper 50p head.
