Ben, Spurs fan, Farnborough: Makes me laugh hearing Man City fans talking about needing players in January. Having a massive squad made up of top draw internationals costing £1bn+ isn't enough? Just embarrassing...

Gerard, Belfast: Andy (15:49) reinforcing the theory that every time City concede, they buy a new £50m+ player...

Sean Dyche is seething. He's marching towards the tunnel and has just ripped his coat. He wants to get in the dressing room before the players.

Don't get carried away, Liverpool fans. But that's a promising table for those of a red persuasion.

Work to do in the second half for Manchester City, while Spurs are purring along nicely...

  8. Ronaldo saves Juventuspublished at 15:57 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2018

    Italian Serie A

Cristiano Ronaldo saved Juventus from a first Serie A defeat of the season with an equaliser against Atalanta.

He was rested for the first time this season - but was needed to step off the bench and head home to make it 2-2.

It is only the second time they have failed to win a Serie A game all season.

    Liverpool 1-0 Newcastle

Marc, Nottingham: Liverpool have played all the big teams once and are still unbeaten. More home than away games left and still not playing to their potential. While there is more to come from City, there's potentially more from Anfield too. Will be close right into late April.

Billy, in Aberdeen: I reckon IF United concede it's going to get scrappy. It might not happen but if it does I think some of the faux confidence will shatter.

    Leicester 1-1 Man City

    Fred Eyre
Former Man City player on BBC Radio Manchester

The situation has bordered on the laughable. Fabian Delph has spent more time in the centre circle than the left-back position. That might have been the instruction, but I’m struggling to see a plan.

The result is they have played with two at the back as opposed to the four, with Danilo and Delph going where they like.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:52 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2018

    Tottenham 3-0 Bournemouth

Hugo Lloris has to make a sharp save right on half time to claw out a Charlie Daniels header. Just the nine goals in four days for Spurs!

  14. Postpublished at 15:50 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2018

    Leicester 1-1 Man City

A really good half and yep, Leicester could well be ahead. They had some fine chances just before the break.

Eventually half-time at Turf Moor. There was a bit of injury time following a collision between Seamus Coleman and Ben Gibson, but they were both OK to continue.

Andy: Feel like Pep should be investing in this January period. Full-backs not good enough and we need a Fernandinho replacement.

Ethan in Manchester: Football fans are unbelievable. Even if Tottenham and City lost today and Liverpool won, the title race is not over. Wake up.
