    Newcastle look desperate to hold onto this clean sheet against rivals Cardiff. First Jamaal Lascelles blocks one with the body and then Matt Ritchie is on the turf but is still trying to tackle and win the ball for his team.

    The winger/winger-back has injured himself in the process too. He goes off to a standing ovation.

    21-year-old midfielder Sean Longstaff has been excellent for Newcastle today. He hasn't done anything flash but has kept things ticking over in midfield and has got a foot in when needed.

    Cardiff are trying to press for a goal to get them back into this but Newcastle are standing firm.
