It is good to see Liverpool aren't standing off it. They aren't going to take it easy, they are getting to the byline and taking the game to Crystal Palace. Milner is the furthest forward player again!

More quick, exciting play from Manchester United. This time it's Anthony Martial with the magic feet. He beats two on the edge of the box before powering a shot just wide of the top corner.

This is a different Liverpool team this season to previous Premier League years. This is a we don't lose at Anfield attitude in this second half thus far.

    Man Utd 2-0 Brighton

United are so sharp with the ball under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Everything just seems to happen twice as fast as it did two months ago.

Jesse Lingard should really have put United. Marcus Rashford dropped a shoulder and wiped a perfect cross in from the left but Lingard couldn't finish from a few yards.

Liverpool have put a massive amount of pressure on since the start of the second half. The corner was played quickly with bodies out of position. Firmino's shot takes a deflection as well, touches the legs of Kouyate to take it away from Speroni. Now, the pressure is now turning to goals.

  9. CLOSE!published at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    Watford 0-0 Burnley

Great chance! Not sure how this is still 0-0 to be honest as we've had plenty of chances. Dwight McNeil volleys over the bar from inside the six-yard box before, at the other end, Troy Deeney has a header kicked clear by Tom Heaton.

It's a great strike by James Ward-Prowse, I think Idrissa Gueye has got to make a tackle and give away a free-kick. You sense the way it was panning out a goal was on - you need to sense the danger there.

    Roberto Firmino (53 mins)

That's what leaders do. Under pressure at the break, Liverpool have turned it around double quick!

A corner is half cleared, played back into the path of Roberto Firmino who has two or three men on him but still squeezes a shot away. It deflects off Cheikhou Kouyate and squirms into the far corner!

    Callum Wilson

Callum Wilson puts Bournemouth in front with a stunner. Ryan Fraser charges down the left. His cross is deflected and bounces across the edge of the box and Wilson hammers a half-volley into the top corner.

If anyone remembers Kevin Philips goal for Sunderland against Chelsea back in the day, it was a bit like that. Beautiful.

All his own work! What a cracking goal from James Ward-Prowse!

Kurt Zouma heads away a long ball, Ward-Prowse nips in to take it away from an Everton boot, beat his man and then, from 20 yards, smash a rising shot past Jordan Pickford and in!

    Liverpool 1-1 Crystal Palace

    Kevin Kilbane
Former Republic of Ireland winger on Final Score

Crystal Palace are the architects of their own downfall.

There's a poor clearance, they surrender the ball to Liverpool and they don't know whether they're holding the line or not. Mo Salah puts it beyond Speroni, who should probably do better himself.

  17. CLOSE!published at 16:07 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    Bournemouth 0-0 West Ham

He's got to score! After a few deflections the ball drops to the feet of Andy Carroll just a yard out. He gets there but the ball ends up over the bar. There was either a brilliant block in there or an amazing miss, I'm not sure.

We'll have to wait for a replay.

    Liverpool 1-1 Crystal Palace

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 live

They've got a lot of luck involved in that but great to see van Dijk coming in from distance. It was a massive deflection and Salah's little flick was just enough. They probably had 10 minutes to make a difference before some changes, and it has taken the one.
