Manchester United need to go through an intelligent process to figure out who they want to be.

Solskjaer may have given a compelling case but if they gave him a contract now, even though he's been impressive, they won't learn anything.

They need to get it right, and bear in mind they've got the last three wrong in this regime.

Pep Guardiola responds to Manchester City's defeat at Newcastle in midweek by recalling midfielder Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva, as well as defender Nicolas Otamendi.

Making way are John Stones, Leroy Sane and Danilo.

That was Leicester's final chance surely. The ball drops to Harry Maguire in the box, he swings his right foot without any real confidence and it's wide of the far post.

Leicester play the corner short and then Kelechi Iheanacho's header is so bad, it's like a defensive one. Literally went backwards.

United haven't been great today in all honesty. But it's looking as thought they might see this one out now.

Leicester bring on an extra striker, Kelechi Iheanacho. Nampalys Mendy, who was lucky not to be shown a second yellow earlier, is off.

Iheanacho hands Jamie Vardy a piece of paper, which Vardy reads and then puts in his sock.
