The trap worked and it was a great ball in but Laporte was well offside.

City think they have their second goal as Aymeric Laporte heads home from Kevin de Bruyne's right-wing free-kick but the offside flag goes up correctly. The Gunners are a shambles so far.

Manchester City have come out like a side wounded by that shock midweek loss at Newcastle United and Arsenal are feeling the full force of the early assault.

Arsenal need to survive the storm without any further early damage otherwise this will be a very long 90 minutes. The Gunners currently look shell-shocked.

Raheem Sterling up against Stephan Lichtsteiner could be interesting today. I'd tried to say that in my first entry of the game but then Sergio Aguero scored.

I was looking at Arsenal coach Unai Emery just after that goal went in. His hands went straight into his pockets as he starred on in disbelief. He took a few moments to gather his thoughts before applauding his players. He obviously wasn’t applauding their defending however.

Sergio Aguero has now scored the two fastest Premier League goals this season - both in the past week. His opener in the Newcastle defeat was after 24 seconds.

This could get very messy. Arsenal half clear and Raheem Sterling blasts in a 20-yard shot which Bernd Leno punches away.
