  2. Gordon should have gone - Kearneypublished at 17:55

FT: St Mirren 1-3 Hamilton Academical

St Mirren manager Oran Kearney thought Hamilton defender Ziggy Gordon should have been shown a red card rather than yellow when he pulled down Simeon Jackson.

"Everybody can see that and things like that are highly frustrating," Kearney told BBC Scotland.

"We came out the blocks brilliantly at the start of the second half and that's that a big moment.

"He's spun him, he's in behind and he's pulled down and I can't understand it and I'm still really struggling with the fact of how it is only a yellow.

"And there is a tackle from behind on Simeon soon after that and there is no yellow. It is a hard one to take."

Earlier, Accies boss Martin Canning had admitted he took Gordon off soon after to avoid a red card but did not think the first challenge warranted a sending off.

"I think the ball was going to go straight to the keeper anyway and I don't know if that's made the referee's mind up," he said.

  3. 'We were good; - Clarkepublished at 17:50

    FT: Kilmarnock 3-0 Hibernian

Kilmarnock manager Steve Clarke: "I thought we were good, first half especially.

"Neil Lennon came with a little bit of a different side but we got the early goal and that was crucial.

"We then grew into the game, passed the ball well and created a lot of chances.

"Second half, we invited them on a little bit. If we'd have been a little bit more clinical we could've had a bigger scoreline.

Steve Clarke says Kilmarnock's early strike proved crucial in the victory against Hibs

"But I'm happy to get the three points. It was important to get Eamonn Brophy back today, he gives us a little bit more energy, or more movement up front.

"It caused their big centre-halves a problem. Jordan Jones was back to his best today as well. It's been a tough couple of weeks for Jordan, he's been out the team; he's sulked a little bit but he's shown everybody what he can do.

"This is the reaction you look from from players."

  4. Holt 'delighted' with Livi victorypublished at 17:40

    FT: Livingston 2-0 Motherwell

Livingston manager Gary Holt: "I'm delighted for the boys. We turned in a performance again and we had chances.

"We've scored two really good goals. It's taken my goalkeeper to keep us 1-0 up with a wonder save. He's done that game after game.

"With a wee bit of luck we could've had a couple more."

  5. Canning hails match-winner Keatingspublished at 17:34

FT: St Mirren 1-3 Hamilton Academical

Hamilton manager Martin Canning: "I said before the game we were coming here to try to win and we played in that manner.

"And the quality of James Keatings wins you the game as well - the set-piece delivery for the first two goals and the goal he actually scores is fantastic.

"We know that, if we can get him fit and get him going, he is a match winner for us at this level.

"He's taken a knock on the top of his foot, so we'll assess that over the next couple of days and see how he is for Wednesday."
