  1. Kearney plots Buddies' revengepublished at 14:24

St Mirren v Hamilton Academical (15:00)

"Hamilton are a good team and their stadium is a hard place to go but thankfully we're at home this weekend," says St Mirren boss Oran Kearney.

"It would be nice to put things right after what happened last time [a 3-0 defeat by Accies in September]. That was one of the sorest results we've had this season as we'd just come off a great result the week before having drawn with Celtic.

"We came off that game thinking if we can repeat that kind of performance against Accies then we'd be alright but we just didn't turn up on the day."

  2. 'False alarm' at Livingstonpublished at 14:20

    Livingston v Motherwell (15:00)

    Allan Preston
    BBC Scotland summariser

It was a false alarm - we were in here [the stadium] at about 1:30pm when everyone was evacuated, including the Motherwell players who sat on their team bus on the far side.

Thankfully, about five minutes ago we were allowed back in. There is no delay to the kick off and the game is on!

    Livingston v Motherwell (15:00)

Livingston boss Gary Holt makes three changes as he looks to halt of four matches without victory.

Nicky Cadden, Stevie Lawless and Jack Hamilton come in to the starting XI with Bobby Burns, Steve Lawson and Scott Robinson dropping to the bench,

Motherwell gave Aberdeen a bit of a thumping last week, sinking the League Cup finalists 3-0 at Fir Park.

Unsurprisingly, Stephen Robinson makes only one change - and it's enforced, with captain Peter Hartley suspended and 20-year-old defender Barry Maguire starting.

  4. Lennon 'expects more from Hibs' - Millerpublished at 14:15

    Kilmarnock v Hibernian (15:00)

    Willie Miller
Former Scotland defender on BBC Radio Scotland

Neil Lennon should be [frustrated at his side's recent form] and I think that frustration is amplified because the fact that teams like St Johnstone, Kilmarnock and Hearts are doing so well.

Hibs sitting outside the top six [in the Premiership] is bound to put pressure on. They're now playing to packed houses at home and they expect to be better.

    Richard Gordon
    BBC Sport Scotland

The stadium at the Tony Macaroni Arena has been evacuated... there was a fire alarm and I gather that the Motherwell players are back out on the team bus.

[BBC Sportsound pundit] Allan Preston is standing outside in the car park. He'll hopefully be back inside at some point.

We'll let you know if that game is able to kick off at 3pm.

  8. Midfield minefield at Hibs?published at 14:05

    Kilmarnock v Hibernian (15:00)

Have Hibernian hit a glass ceiling? Neil Lennon thinks that might be the case.

John McGinn, Dylan McGeouch and Scott Allan all departed after helping Hibs to fourth place on their return to the top-flight last term.

Stevie Mallan's arrival has gone someway to cushion the blow, but Hibs are winless in five games, and Lennon admits improving the squad in pre-season was "impossible".

Neil Lennon: "We've hit a plateau..."

"How do you replace a John McGinn?" he added.

"We haven't got the finances or nous to do that so you bring other players on like a Mallan, develop him, and in the meantime try to keep performances and results the right way.

"It's frustrating because we've hit a plateau and that was always going to happen because the rise of the club over the past couple of years has been very much an upward spiral.

"However, we've still got quality players here, entertaining players, international players, young players."

    Kilmarnock v Hibernian (15:00)

Kilmarnock have yet to beat Hibernian since Steve Clarke took up the managerial reins at Rugby Park.

However, Clarke is keen to end that barren run when the sides lock horns this afternoon.

"Hibs are good opposition. I know they aren't in the best run right now but they are always a dangerous team, always play an open game, always look to be attacking," he says.

"We've had some great games against them but unfortunately we haven't come out on the winning side yet in my time here.

"How are we looking to put that right this time? By beating them! It's an important time of year. December is a big month - it was a good month for us last year and if we can replicate that it would be great."

Victory for Kilmarnock would also see them leapfrog Rangers and into second place in the Premiership - for 24 hours at least...
