    That's all from me.

It's been a good night of FA Cup football. There's more to come with Southampton v Derby tomorrow. That's live on BBC One.

I'll leave you with Newcastle's two extra-time goals which settled their tie.

    Goodbye!

  2. 'We reacted well so I'm pleased'published at 22:41 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2019

    FT: Blackburn 2-4 Newcastle

    Newcastle United

Speaking to BT Sport, Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez said: "We went 2-0 up and then Blackburn did well, but we reacted so I'm pleased with the effort and the commitment of the players.

The young players did well, and the main thing was that everybody was giving 100% for each other and that is what we did."

On a potential cup run: "Before this game, with the team selection, we have a squad that are trying to get through, and if we can do it the same way in the next round we will be pleased with that."

On injuries: "We need to wait tomorrow and see how they are, and if they cannot play then we will bring another one in. Jamaal Lascelles was limping because he felt something.

"The commitment and the team effort is there and you have to be pleased and carry confidence forward when you score four goals. The main thing is to get three points against Cardiff."

So tonight's results mean we'll have these ties in the fourth round:

    • Chelsea v Sheffield Wednesday

Matches will be played the weekend of 26 January.

  4. 'We need players in'published at 22:38 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2019

    Stoke 2-3 Shrewsbury

More from Stoke City manager Nathan Jones speaking to BBC Radio Stoke:

"The people here aren't used to winning football matches here at the minute and it shows. It's a big job, it's a work in progress but that would've given us a little platform.

"Apart from the last 20 minutes I was very pleased but we needed more from that. If you don't defend properly you won't build results.

"We were magnificent for a good length of time but then to crumble in the manner we did was alarming. You need leaders out there to steady the ship, it's disappointing but we'll have to learn from it.

"We need players in. We need certain types in. There could be activity but we have to make sure the ones here are better in doing what we do.

    On Tyrese Campbell:

"I thought Tyresse did very well to get a brace at such a young age and I thought Charlie Adam was excellent as well. Charlie dictated play, but obviously he was going to run out of steam because he hasn't played in a long time."

Newcastle fans - you may have won tonight but don't start dreaming of winning the cup just yet.

Rafa Benitez effectively says he'll rotate his team again against Watford in round four.

  6. 'That's tough to take'published at 22:34 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2019

    Stoke 2-3 Shrewsbury

Stoke City manager Nathan Jones speaking to BBC Radio Stoke:

"I'm a little bit shocked by the manner of the loss. To be in cruise control and then to go and concede in the manner we did really surprised me. In the first half I thought we were excellent.

"We seemed to run out of gas. A few of them haven't played football matches for a while and it's quite amazing how we lost that game

"They scored with three chances that they had but it's the defensive discipline. He should have stayed on his feet for the penalty. We should have seen that game out comfortably.

"The last 20 minutes has given me real food for thought because that is tough to take."

Newcastle striker Ayoze Perez on BT Sport: "We had to keep fighting for the cup and let's see how it goes.

I think Rafa Benitez will be disappointed they have won. Fair play to the players but his concentration will be on the league.

Two or three of those that played tonight will be involved at the weekend but Jamaal Lascelles and Ciaran Clark are important in the way they play, and we don't know how long they will be out for.

And after that let-off Newcastle were clincial, with a bit of fortune.

They had a helping hand from the officials and the Blackburn goalkeeper for Joselu's goal before Ayoze Perez wrapped it up...

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Newcastle and England winger on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

It wasn't the greatest game of football this season but there was a lot of honesty. Blackburn pulled it level and whoever got the next goal was going to win.

Joselu reacted fastest to take them in front and then the Blackburn heads dropped. It has been a good contest between both sides over both legs.

The big question is, how big a cost has this game come for Newcastle?

How bad are the injuries to Ciaran Clark and Jamaal Lascelles?
