You cannot see Blackburn coming back now, they look shattered. Newcastle are two goals up but they could have killed this game by now.

    Blackburn 2-4 Newcastle

I've just seen a replay of Joselu's crucial third goal. He was comfortably offside when Fabian Schar had the initial shot.

I must admit I missed that first time around.

The Premier League side have probably got a little lucky.

Newcastle just have to play sensibly now and they do not have to take any risks. Do not let Blackburn back into the game and keep the tempo up.

GOAL - Blackburn 2-4 Newcastlepublished at 107 mins

    Ayoze Perez

Keeper? Am I being harsh or should Raya do better here too? Ayoze Perez gets down the right side of the box and shoots high across the Blackburn keeper with good power.

Raya gets a hand on it but not enough to keep the ball out.

Game over. Newcastle are going through.

Joselu has gambled on the keeper making a mistake. I'm sorry you push that away. It's dropped, it's an easy tap-in. He's the only player who reacted and he gets his reward.

GOAL - Blackburn 2-3 Newcastlepublished at 105+2 mins

    Joselu

Oh dear. Blackburn goalkeeper David Raya has to do better here.

Fabian Schar shoots from distance and it does move in the air but the keeper just has to get this away from danger.

Instead he fumbles it down into the penalty area and Joselu is on hand to tuck away the rebound.

    That came out of nowhere.

Huuuuge chance for Bradley Dack. He sneaks into the penalty box but steers a shot from 10 yards wide on the half-volley.

Tony Mowbray has his hand on each cheek looking like The Scream.

    He should have scored.

I think this is the perfect example of why extra-time should be scrapped and we should go straight to penalties. It is so flat here.

Two minutes of stoppage time left. Shrewsbury make another sub to waste some more time.

    You can't blame them.

    They were 2-0 down remember.
