  1. Watt a chance... sort ofpublished at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2018

    St Mirren 0-0 St Johnstone

Tony Watt tries his luck for St Johnstone now as the visitors turn up the pressure. The former Celtic striker cuts back inside from the byeline and turns Anton Ferdinand inside out in the process, but his left foot shot is deflected wide of the far post for a corner, which is eventually cleared.

Is it too late for a Christmas miracle and for a goal in Paisley?

  2. CLOSE!published at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2018

    Dundee 0-0 Livingston

Nearly a comedy own goal from Livingston.

Keaghan Jacobs hacks clear from in front of goal and it hits the back of team-mate Dolly Menga, but fortunately for the home side it bounces just wide.

From the corner, Kenny Miller flicks a header wide of the far past.

  3. goal

GOAL Hearts 1-0 Hamiltonpublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2018

    Steven Naismith

Cracking finish from Steven Naismith, who curls in his 12th Hearts goal of the season, and 14th in all including two for Scotland.

Ben Garuccio, driving in from the left flank, finds the striker in far too much space just inside the Accies' box. Naismith switches it from his left foot to his right, and caresses it into the right corner.

  4. Dunne down for 'Wellpublished at 15:18 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2018

    Motherwell 0-0 Kilmarnock

A horrible clash of heads between Charles Dunne and team-mate Carl McHugh leaves the former sprawled on the turf. Paramedics rush on to the park to treat the Motherwell defender who is now being moved on to a stretcher with medical staff of both clubs present.

Meanwhile, McHugh has now wandered off a few yards away looking visibly unwell. The club doctor is now escorting him off the pitch as Dunne is finally stretchered off. Christian Mbulu is on for Dunne, with Gael Bigirimana getting prepared to replace McHugh.

The Shinnie v Brown midfield battle always provides an intriguing sub-plot to these games, no quarter given

  6. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2018

    St Mirren 0-0 St Johnstone

Ross Callachan in the thick of it as he throws himself to the deck in the St Mirren box. Buddies captain Stephen McGinn promptly voices his displeasure and the St Johnstone midfielder is rightly booked.

  7. Early change for Acciespublished at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2018

    Hearts 0-0 Hamilton

Hamilton defender Delphin Tshiembe lands heavily after a push from Steven Naismith, and is now holding an ice-pack to his left knee on the Accies bench.

Lennard Sowah is on in his place.

  8. CLOSE!published at 15:11 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2018

    St Mirren 0-0 St Johnstone

A big chance for Ross Callachan to give St Johnstone the lead. From almost an identical position that Adam Hammill dragged wide from in the first half for the hosts, the Saints sub does likewise.

  9. Postpublished at 15:10 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2018

    Motherwell 0-0 Kilmarnock

A deep corner causes mayhem in the Motherwell box as the home side frantically try to clear. The ball eventually lands to Kris Boyd who is unmarked at the back post but the veteran striker finds his eventual shot snuffed out. Scrappy stuff so far at Fir Park.

  10. Oops!published at 5mins

    Dundee 0-0 Livingston

It's been a lively start at Dens Park and Livingston goalkeeper Liam Kelly has a lucky escape as he comes charging well out of his area to clear a long ball pumped out the Dundee defence.

Kelly slices it horribly but it falls to team-mate Declan Gallagher to clear.

  11. Postpublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2018

    Aberdeen 1-1 Celtic

Stevie May leaves something on his old Dons team-mate Jonny Hayes and that's a yellow card for persistent fouling.

Celtic continue with their slow, deliberate build-up and Aberdeen are content to sit back and soak it up.

  12. CLOSE!published at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2018

    Rangers 0-0 Hibernian

An early opportunity for the visitors at Ibrox, with former Rangers midfielder Emerson Hyndman heading just wide from Martin Boyle's cross

  13. CLOSE!published at 15:05 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2018

    Hearts 0-0 Hamilton

Speculative 30-yard volley from Hearts midfielder Olly Lee inside the first minute at Tynecastle, but that's easy for Gary Woods in the Hamilton goal.

Then Callum Morrison gets to the right byline, whips in a cross across the face of the goal and Steven Naismith, stooping at the far post, heads into the side netting.

    Big chance...missed.

Whistles going all over the country, some for second-halves, some for kick-offs...

Up at Pittodrie, Scott Wright is on for Niall McGinn and Jonny Hayes takes over from Emilio Izaguirre as Aberdeen and Celtic both make half-time changes.

    Dundee v Livingston (15:00)

    John Barnes
    BBC Scotland at Dens Park

Dundee have been forced into a late change at Dens Park.

Martin Woods appears to have picked up a knock in the warm-up and his place is taken in midfield by Glen Kamara, who had initially been dropped to the bench.

That was a very strange first half. There was some decent midfield play - Stephen McGinn has stood out with some excellent interceptions and passes. But frustratingly for everyone, there have been very few chances created. Both sides appear to be cancelling each other out. A bit more excitement in the second half please.

  17. Maclaren and Kamberi back for Hibspublished at 14:59 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2018

    Rangers v Hibernian (15:00)

Steven Gerrard makes two changes to Rangers' starting line-up, with their two signings from Osijek, left-back Borna Barisic and winger Erox Grezda missing out.

Ryan Jack comes into central midfield, with Glenn Middleton on the wing.

Hibs head coach Neil Lennon makes five changes, with Jamie Maclaren renewing his partnership up front with Florian Kamberi.

Paul Hanlon is back in defence, Lewis Stevenson wide on the left and Stevie Mallan in central midfield.

Oli Shaw and Sean Mackie drop to the bench, while Mark Milligan, Lewis Allan and Ryan Porteous miss out.

    Motherwell v Kilmarnock (15:00)

    Jonathan Sutherland
BBC Sport Scotland at Fir Park

There are almost three distinct groupings now in the Premiership - the top four, the middle four and the bottom four.

This game pits the side currently bringing up the rear in the top four with the side leading the pack in the bottom four.

The smart money is on Kilmarnock. They have won the last three matches between these sides and manager Steve Clarke will be after a reaction following the 1-1 draw away to Hamilton Academical.

Such has been the progress at Kilmarnock that such a scoreline is now seen as a surprise.

Motherwell are in search of consistency. They did well to win away to St Johnstone two weeks ago, but it must be hugely frustrating for everyone involved at the club when just a couple of games after that they lose at home to strugglers St Mirren.

  20. Millers back for Dee, Cadden in for Livipublished at 14:53 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2018

    Dundee v Livingston (15:00)

Former Republic of Ireland centre-half Darren O'Dea has recovered from injury as manager Jim McIntyre makes three changes to his starting line-up.

The Millers are back too, with veteran striker Kenny having been rested for the weekend defeat by Celtic and on-loan wide man Calvin having been ineligible to play against his parent club.

Glen Kamara, Adil Nabi and Ryan Inniss drop to the bench, while defender Genseric Kusunga has failed a fitness test and misses out again.

Livingston are forced into one change, with Scott Robinson missing out after coming off injured in the 1-1 draw away to Hibs.

Nicky Cadden replaces him in midfield and, with centre-half Alan Lithgow having shaken off a knock, the West Lothian side are back to the same XI that started their 5-0 thumping of Hearts.
