  1. 'Chance to find the limit'published at 19:35 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2019

Southampton v Crystal Palace (19:45 GMT)

    Southampton

Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl: "We see we have quick-learning players and that there's more potential than maybe a lot of other people thought they have.

"Now we have the chance to find the limit. To take this to the summer and let everyone show us how good they are, how much they can develop their game.

"We have a good chance to stay in this Premier League and then look beyond that."

  2. Shutting out the oppositionpublished at 19:34 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2019

Southampton v Crystal Palace (19:45 GMT)

Southampton have kept just one clean sheet in 13 Premier League matches. They have lost 15 points from a winning position this campaign, a joint-league high with Fulham.

Meanwhile, Palace have kept eight Premier League clean sheets this season, the best record outside the current top four.

  3. 'Never know what you're getting'published at 19:33 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2019

    Liverpool v Leicester (20:00 GMT)

    Guy Mowbray
    Match of the Day commentator

After three straight defeats, and four in five games, the pressure is mounting on Claude Puel, whose Leicester side now face Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham in a row.

Or perhaps that's not a bad thing given their wins against Chelsea and Manchester City last month?!

You never quite know what you're getting with Leicester, although we can maybe assume Puel will revert back to pragmatism at Anfield after a more attacking approach at Wolves didn't (quite) pay off.

Liverpool conceded as many goals against Crystal Palace last time out as in their previous FIFTEEN home league games. A blip, rather than a problem.

Freshly back from a warm-weather training break, they'll be charging from the start again.

  4. 'Too early for six-pointers'published at 19:32 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2019

Southampton v Crystal Palace (19:45 GMT)

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson: "It's too early to talk about six-pointer games. I think you have to keep your powder dry until later in the season for that type of talk.

"I'm more than happy to congratulate Ralph Hasenhuttl on the job he has been doing but I can't make comparisons. They beat us under Mark Hughes earlier this season."

  5. "Ralphampton' are looking decent"published at 19:30 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2019

Southampton v Crystal Palace (19:45 GMT)

    Alistair Bruce-Ball
BBC Radio 5 live commentator at Bloomfield Road

Such has been the impact of Herr Hasenhuttl in just over six weeks on the south coast that Southampton have already been dubbed 'Ralphampton', and they are looking like a decent outfit again.

He had his players in for training on Saturday and Sunday to continue working on their understanding of exactly what he wants them to do, while Crystal Palace (or should I say 'C-Roy-stal Palace'?) were busy knocking Tottenham out of the FA Cup.

Palace have been better away from home in the Premier League this season, emphasised by recent wins at Wolves and Manchester City, and they also ran Liverpool very close at Anfield. Regardless of the result here I think both teams will comfortably avoid relegation.

  6. Postpublished at 19:29 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2019

    Liverpool v Leicester (20:00 GMT)

Jurgen Klopp is doing his usual routine of checking out the opposition in the warm-up.

Reckon he actually gets anything out of it or is it just a psych tactic? Death stare.

  7. Stacked against the Cherriespublished at 19:27 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2019

    Bournemouth v Chelsea (19:45 GMT)

Bournemouth have lost all three Premier League home games against Chelsea and have lost 10 consecutive league fixtures against the established top six since a 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge a year ago.

Eden Hazard has also scored seven goals in his past eight meetings with Bournemouth - and has scored in both games against the Cherries this season.

  8. 'Title Liverpool's to lose'published at 19:25 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2019

    Liverpool v Leicester (20:00 GMT)

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Teams try not to get carried away, but it is Liverpool’s to lose. What they have done well all season, I know it is cliche, but they take things one game at a time.

The crowd get excited, they get out the block early. If they concede there is no panic, the crowd are behind them. They know they have the quality to score at will if they desire

  9. 'Sad underbelly of abuse in football'published at 19:24 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2019

    Ellie Thomason
    BBC Sport

Macclesfield Town manager Sol Campbell says he has been surprised by a "really sad underbelly of abuse in football that has been left for far too long".

The Football Association is investigating claims that the 44-year-old was subjected to homophobic abuse during the Silkmen's visit to Cheltenham on Saturday.

Eleven games into his first job as manager, Campbell says he has faced abuse from opposing supporters on the terraces and at railway stations on his way home from games.

  10. 'Closer than people think'published at 19:24 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2019

    Bournemouth v Chelsea (19:45 GMT)

    Jonathan Pearce
BBC Match of the Day commentator

Not many will give Bournemouth a chance here given their run of just three league wins in 13 games, Chelsea's 100% record at the Vitality Stadium and the visitors' buoyant cup wins last week.

But Eddie Howe will have something up his sleeve for the 200th game of his second spell.

Much will depend on the fitness of Callum Wilson if the Cherries are to fire into Chelsea early on - just as Wolves, Tottenham and Arsenal have done when beating the Blues.

Chelsea have played three times since Bournemouth's last game. But Eden Hazard and N'Golo Kante were rested on Sunday and Gonzalo Higuain will be sharper.

I can't see Bournemouth keeping a clean sheet but it'll be closer than some people think.

  11. On a brilliant runpublished at 19:22 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2019

    Tottenham v Watford (20:00 GMT)

    Watford

Watford could equal the club Premier League record of five consecutive matches unbeaten, home and away.

They have lost only one of their past eight league fixtures, winning three and drawing four.

David: Liverpool fans certainly won't be thinking this is easy. The ones I have spoken to certainly don't. We don't take anything for granted, there are no easy games in the PL.

Amir: Hopefully, this is the breakout game for Naby

  13. 'Eddie Howe is a special coach'published at 19:20 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2019

    Bournemouth v Chelsea (19:45 GMT)

    Chelsea

    Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri:

"Gonzalo Higuain has not played a lot before, he had a back problem, and then he played a few. I think that now he needs to play. It is not easy to get used to the Premier League in the first period but now he needs to play.

Why Pedro in for Willian?: "Nothing special. We have to play there matches in six days, we have to change. Pedro rested last match, today I thought better to change, same with Emerson and Marcus Alonso.

"Emerson in this moment is doing very well, played well in the last two, three matches he was on the pitch, now is the moment to use him in the starting XI.

"Bournemouth are a very good team, they have a special coach. I like Eddie very much they are doing well especially at home. 20 points to 9 away, they defend with aggression and when they attack they are dangerous, especially on the counter attack."

  14. 'The best medicine is to win games'published at 19:18 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2019

    Tottenham v Watford (20:00 GMT)

    Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino: "The matches against Chelsea and Palace were tough. The competition doesn't wait. The most important thing is to change the energy.

"We will see if Son Heung-min can cope with the 90 minutes. He arrived [from the Asian Cup] on Saturday and had a rest on Sunday.

"The best medicine is to win games."

  15. Klopp signs Dier & Schmeichel for Cup... or does he?published at 19:17 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2019

Jurgen Klopp might not be enjoying the Premier League title race but it looks like 'he' has been enjoying some five-a-side - with the likes of 'Tottenham's Eric Dier' and 'Leicester's Kasper Schmeichel'...

  16. Hazard the danger man for Cherriespublished at 19:17 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2019

    Bournemouth v Chelsea (19:45 GMT)

    Mark Mitchener
    BBC Sport at Vitality Stadium

Eden Hazard, restored to his preferred deeper position by Gonzalo Higuain's arrival, has been a regular thorn in Bournemouth's side since their elevation to the top flight. The Belgian has seven goals in nine league and cup appearances against the Cherries, twice netting the only goal in 1-0 wins.

However, a crumb of comfort for the hosts - in both Premier League games where they've stopped Hazard scoring, Bournemouth have taken all three points, giving them a better PL record against Chelsea than they have against any of the six elite teams.

  17. 'We can create an upset'published at 19:16 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2019

    Liverpool v Leicester (20:00 GMT)

    Leicester City

Leicester manager Claude Puel speaking to BBC Sport: "It will be a fantastic challenge but we can create an upset I think because we have confidence and good results against big teams.

"It is amazing to play these games in this atmosphere and stadium. We can play with quality also. Sometimes against other teams we struggle to have focus. We have to create this.

"I hope tonight we can give our best. It is a good opportunity to enjoy our game.

On Liverpool's right-back: "We will see that system and the positions. They have enough talented players on the pitch to make a difference.

"I think we also have good quality. I hope we can leave our best and I am sure we can get a result if we play with quality."

  18. Arnautovic could face Liverpoolpublished at 19:14 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2019

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport correspondent

Marko Arnautovic has an outside chance of being fit for West Ham's Premier League game against Liverpool at the London Stadium on Monday after scans revealed the striker had received bruising to his foot during last night's defeat at Wolves.

Making his first appearance since signing an extension to his contract that quelled talk of him leaving the Hammers to take up a lucrative contract in China, Arnautovic was substituted 13 minutes from the end, sparking fears he was set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

However, BBC Sport understands that even if Arnautovic doesn't make the televised encounter with the league leaders, he should be available for the Premier League game at Crystal Palace on 9 February.

  19. Team newspublished at 19:13 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2019

    Tottenham v Watford (20:00 GMT)

Tottenham make eight changes from the XI that started in the 2-0 FA Cup defeat at Crystal Palace.

The most significant returnee is forward Son Heung-min who has not played since 13 January because he was on duty for South Korea at the Asian Cup.

Hugo Lloris, Moussa Sissoko, Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen are among those to return to the starting line-up.

Watford boss Javi Gracia had made 11 changes to his line-up for their FA Cup win against Newcastle last weekend.

Only full-back Daryl Janmaat, centre-back Craig Cathcart and midfielder Will Hughes retain their places.

Forward Troy Deeney returns to skipper the side.

The big news from Anfield is that defender Virgil van Dijk starts after recovering from a bout of illness.

There are two changes to the Liverpool team that beat Crystal Palace 4-3 last time out - forward Xherdan Shaqiri and Georginio Wijnaldum come into the side while James Milner, who is suspended, and midfielder Fabinho drop out.

Liverpool XI: Alisson, Wijnaldum, Matip, van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Keita, Mane, Firmino, Shaqiri, Salah.

Substitutes: Fabinho, Lovren, Sturridge, Lallana, Mignolet, Origi, Camacho.

Leicester City XI: Schmeichel, Ricardo Pereira, Evans, Maguire, Chilwell, Mendy, Ndidi, Gray, Maddison, Albrighton, Vardy.

Substitutes: Simpson, Morgan, Iheanacho, Ward, Barnes, Okazaki, Choudhury.
