Liverpool fans will be on the edge of their seats. They will want to get over the line, want that seven point gap.

They might be thinking this game is easier than everyone else, Leicester have got to come here and really give it a go. Liverpool at their best will get a win. But don’t go in thinking it is easy.

  2. 'We just need to play football'published at 19:09 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2019

    Liverpool v Leicester (20:00 GMT)

    Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp to BBC Sport on whether Manchester City's slip-up has given his side a boost: "I don't see it like that. Last night we had a long working day and I came home late. I didn't watch the game, I watched a movie.

"Then afterwards my phone was like ZZZZZZ! You can't celebrate something that isn't to do with you. There is nothing that can cause us problems if you don't let it happen.

"People like you only talk about things we're not interested in (chuckles). We just need to play football.

On Wijnaldum playing at right-back? "We will see, yes?"

  19. Duel of the big spenders?published at 18:49 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2019

    Bournemouth v Chelsea (19:45 GMT)

    Mark Mitchener
    BBC Sport at Vitality Stadium

Considering Chelsea's resources, it's not a shock that the Blues are the biggest Premier League spenders so far in the January transfer window with the £58m capture of Christian Pulisic, although he was immediately loaned back to Borussia Dortmund.

The team surprisingly at number two on that list? Tonight's opponents Bournemouth, who name new signings Dominic Solanke (£19m) and Chris Mepham (£12m) on the bench for the first time. However, boss Eddie Howe said yesterday that top scorer Callum Wilson might be a doubt because of a knee injury - and so it seems to have proved.

  20. Transfer deadline daypublished at 18:48 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2019

Premier League clubs spent a record amount in last year's winter transfer window and on deadline day - but 12 months on the picture looks much different.

Just 17 deals have been completed so far, with a total spend of £113m - a long way short of the £430m spent in January 2018 - and half of the 20 Premier League sides have not signed anyone.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of tomorrow's deadline day.
