Another great block by Lewis Dunk to keep out Michy Batshuayi from the tightest of angles.

Great defending from Brighton who have soaked up everything Palace have thrown at them since the visitors went ahead.

Chris Hughton will be enjoying this backs-to-the-wall defending from his players.

  3. Murray joins 100 clubpublished at 42 mins

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Brighton

Glenn Murray had been stuck on 99 league goals for Brighton since a double at Fulham at the end of January.

But he's now reached a century becoming the second player to score 100 in the league for the Seagulls, emulating Tommy Cook.

Cook, scored 114 league goals for Brighton and hit an impressive 123 goals in 209 games for the club almost a century ago.

He also played 460 matches, scoring 20,198 runs for Sussex in first-class cricket.

That's probably one statistic Murray won't get near!

LermaTheLemur: Montoya hauls down Zaha and gets a yellow card, correctly. Scott Dann drags the Brighton player down in the box even more blatantly and no penalty? No idea what officials are doing these days!

With that midfield five, the wide players for Brighton are taking turns to help their full-backs out. Zaha seemed to slow the speed of the break down and that allowed all of those Brighton players to get back into position.

Paul Malecki: Imagine England are one nil down in a game they need a point. They look at the bench.... Southgate: Glenn, get warm! Makes perfect sense. Harry Kane and Murray would be a handful.

James Tomkins is up for the corner and he really gets involved. Schluppp tries the spectacular volley that is wide of the post but that is much better from Palace - committing players forward and putting Brighton under pressure.

It has been a decent game so far, full of incident and controversy.

Palace are banging on the door!

Lewis Dunk produces an excellent block to frustrate Wilfried Zaha - Palace's most threatening player.

Then Mat Ryan claws away a header from James Tomkins before Jeffrey Schlupp drills another chance wide.

That has sparked Palace fans into life.

Robbie Kahar: What a finish by Murray! Cant believe the Palace defender let that bounce! Poor...

Millsysview: Utter Sunday League defending from James Tomkins there. You don’t let a man like Glenn Murray through onto a ball like that, get it gone or he will snaffle it up like he duly did!

Agada: Glenn Murray doesn't joke with that. What a mindset.

Out of nothing, a hopeful ball over the top, the Palace defence didn't deal with the bouncing ball, Glenn Murray still had a bit to do and it is a spectacular finish.

A fantastic strike from Murray, I think he's touched the ball four times but he is a proven goalscorer, and with one of those in your team you always have a chance.

    MURRAY!

What a story as Glenn Murray, who should have been on the bench, lashes past Vicente Guaita with only his fourth touch.

It's a horrible error by James Tomkins whose failure to cut out a ball allows Murray to shoot.

    It's a wonderful finish though.
