Alex Winstanley: The greatest league in the world (but with poor referees). Straight red, don't care how early it is in the match
Greg Morter: Absolute tosh that a ref won't give a red cos it's too early in the game

Crystal Palace 0-0 Brighton
First shot in anger comes from the left boot of Michy Batshuayi but it's a comfortable save for Mat Ryan.
A swirling wind is making conditions difficult but will Roy Hodgson or Chris Hughton use that as an excuse after the game?

Crystal Palace 0-0 Brighton
Just hearing Florin Andone picked up a thigh injury in the warm-up. How serious it is we won't know until after the final whistle. That's the reason for Glenn Murray starting.

Just in case you're wondering...
The last Brighton manager to win this fixture at Selhurst Park was Mark McGhee, who is now in his 11th stint as a manager.
And he's not actually that far away, as he's currently taking charge of Eastbourne Borough in the National League south. So basically a slight diversion from the A23 to the A22!
Current Reading defender Paul McShane headed the only goal of a hectic Championship clash in October 2005.

Afternoon from sunny south London, it’s fairly calm at the moment but that won’t last long. The rivalry between these two is as intense as an derby despite the 40 miles between the two.
It all goes back to 1976 when Terry Venables was the Palace manager and Alan Mullery the Brighton one. The pair, former Tottenham team-mates, didn’t see eye to eye and that spilled onto the pitch and terraces. Five times they played that season, three of those in the FA Cup, and they were explosive encounters and that rivalry has intensified ever since.
I expect no different this afternoon, Palace are the form team with 11 points from the last six matches while Brighton have one point from the last six games away. There’s an expectant buzz around Selhurst Park. Should be good this one.

BBC Match of the Day commentator at Selhurst Park
Crystal Palace have won only one home league game in six. Brighton have just one point from their last six away. But form means nothing in this.
Few would have foreseen the ease in which the Seagulls ran the Eagles ragged in the home fixture in December. The away side failed to find Wilfried Zaha until too late that day.
This will be different and I can't see Brighton completing a first double in 35 years.
But with both sides closing on the likely 36-point safety mark, a draw wouldn't be a surprise.

Richard Parkin: Come to Australia, the home of the made-up derby: the best of which is Perth Glory vs Wellington Phoenix in the “distance derby” (because one side travels over 5,000km to get there).
