There's one game to go before the Scottish Cup's fifth round line-up is complete and that comes tomorrow night.

Cowdenbeath host Rangers in a rearranged game after the original was called off because of a frozen pitch.

Rangers have helped out the League Two club with the cost of an incubation system designed to ensure it will beat the cold snap this time.

It was be a surprise if it doesn't go ahead this time - and an even bigger one should Steven Gerrard's side fail to secure an all-Premiership tie away to Kilmarnock.

Dundee manager Jim McIntyre has described the defeat by Queens as "embarrassing" and says more new signings are "clearly needed".

He has also promised changes to his side for Saturday's crunch game away to relegation rivals Hamilton Academical.

Queen of the South assistant manager Dougie Anderson is delighted to be through to the next round.

"We managed the game well," he tells BBC Scotland. "Dundee started quite well and a bit of magic from Stephen settled us down.

"We didn't let them get any momentum and we did well over the piece.

"It is great for the club. It is fantastic to go somewhere like Pittodrie and it is a big challenge against a top three club.

"The manager will have them organised and it will be a game to remember."

Ayr United manager Ian McCall is not taking any consolation from his side's two-goal fightback after the break.

"I am not feeling any pride at all because we lost the game," he tells BBC Scotland. "I did not think it was a game of two halves.

"They had 18 minutes and we had the rest of the game.

"You can't give anyone three goals of a start and we gifted them at least two of them."

Inverness Caledonian Thistle manager John Robertson thinks a win over Partick Thistle on Saturday would bring his side right back into the title race.

"We are delighted with the three points and we just about deserved it," he tells BBC Scotland.

"I love this place. It is a throwback and you know 3-0 was never going to be enough.

"If we win again on Saturday, we are back in the hunt."

Stenhousemuir manager Colin McMenamin: "It's probably my fault the way I set the team off, but we sat off them too much early on.

"But we acquitted ourselves well in both games and it's made some money for the club, at least, so we can get on with the league campaign now."

McMenamin thinks his side have shown enough in their two games against Aberdeen - and Saturday's league win over Airdrieonians - to suggest they can lift themselves off the foot of League One.

Meanwhile, he thinks Aberdeen are capable of going all the way in the cup - and challenging Celtic for the Premiership title.

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes on BBC Radio Scotland: "I thought we were bright with our work, similar to our last game against Stenhousemuir.

"The difference this time was that we were far more clinical.

"We didn't start the second half properly and I'm disappointed we did not keep a clean sheet.

"So it wasn't perfect, but it was pretty close to it and more than I expected of us and ultimately we scored some excellent goals."

Stephen Dobbie's fifth hat-trick of the season takes Queen of the South into the fifth round of the Scottish Cup.

There, they will face Aberdeen, who will be hosts on 10 February thanks to their convincing win over Stenhousemuir tonight.

It was a win for the Championship promotion hopefuls against a Dundee side sitting second bottom of the Premiership, so it was no real shock.

For Dundee, it is back to concentrating on avoiding the drop.

Despite their spirited second-half fightback, Ayr blow a chance to move top of the Championship ahead of Ross County on goal difference.

Nathan Austin twice capitalised on poor defending and Liam Polworth added a third to give Caley Thistle what looked like an impregnable lead at half-time.

The introduction of talisman Lawrence Shankland brought Ayr back to life after the break.

He set up Declan McDaid to pull one back and added the second himself, but Ian McCall's side just fall short.

Lawrence Shankland's importance to Ayr is obvious.

Any time, he has been out of the team this struggled.

When he is in the side, he usually scores and it is down to him that Ayr are sitting second in the Championship.

It's all over at Ochilview, where Stenhousemuir's dream of repeating their famous 1995 win over Aberdeen was extinguished early on.

Niall McGinn's early strike was followed by a Sam Cosgrove penalty and a Greg Stewart finish before half-time.

The side sitting bottom of League One made a spirited attempt at a comeback after the break, their reward being a headed goal from Andy Munro.

An unlikely fightback it would have been, but thoughts of that were quickly ended by full-back Ruaridh Donaldson's stunning own goal.

The Premiership side were stunned by a late equaliser at Pittodrie, but they well and truly make amends to progress to a fifth-round tie that looks likely to be against Queen of the South.
