Mo: These refs and Chelsea... how was that not a penalty.

Adam: Chelsea cannot buy an offside decision going the correct way this season.

Dave Payn: Common sense says it isn’t handball but yes, with VAR and the present handball laws, that’d probably be a penalty.

Wolves' points tally just shows you how far they have come as a club. They've been in the Championship for a long time but with their new owners they've come up and they've embraced life in the Premier League.

Coolisha Meekjagger: In a game where Wolves are defending with 10 men in the box, Chelsea need Ruben Loftus-Cheek or Callum Hudson-Odoi to take defenders on and make things happen.

Only Cardiff (8) and Huddersfield (9) have scored fewer Premier League first half goals than Wolves (11) this season.

Half an hour in and they have not got a single shot off.

No penalty? Would have been given in the Champions League.

Raul Jimenez makes a mess of the clearance from the corner, mis-cueing and the ball pops up onto his right arm which is in the air.

Referee Michael Oliver has a look but waves play on.

Next season, VAR will defo be replaying that.

He was brought in in January and Gonzalo Higuain has caused quite a few problems for Wolves today.

The Argentine gets in between two defenders but nods Pedro's cross wide.

In the aftermath, skipper Conor Coady and a team-mate collide heads, needing attention from the physio.

The pattern is clear. Lots of Chelsea possession - disciplined, organised Wolves defence. The crowd are watching fairly quietly so far, but it may not be too long before their patience begins to wear.

Wolves will be more vulnerable if they try to go forward and open up space for Chelsea's attackers to pour into.

But when Chelsea are in possession they look pretty comfortable with a rigid back five.

Chelsea are camped in the Wolves half but are finding it difficult to make inroads into a backline that is very well organised.

Matt Doherty, the Fantasy Football manager's dream signing, has made a couple of important interceptions from Eden Hazard's attempted through balls.

Further excellent play from Gonzalo Higuain.

The Argentine peels away from his marker with an angled run into the area and is found by N'Golo Kante's slide-rule pass, but Higuain's shot at the front post is pushed away by Rui Patricio.

That is the first shot on target, Chelsea have looked decent so far.

Of course, Chelsea have another legendary forward in the dugout in assistant manager Gianfranco Zola.

A Drogba-Zola front line would have been pretty handy, don't you think?

Wolves will be very pleased with how the game's started for them. Yes Chelsea have had all the possession but it's all been in front of them and there's always been a Wolves player harrying the Chelsea player in possession so far.

Lovely interchange between Pedro and Gonzalo Higuain, but the Argentine's thumping shot is blocked in the centre of goal by Romain Saiss.

For the first time in the game, Wolves show some attacking intent.

It is a nice spell of passing from the visitors, knocking it around confidently but the move eventually breaks down when Conor Coady lumps an aimless ball out of play for a goal kick.

That promised a lot, delivered nothing.
