Steven Alexander: Great start for Arsenal but can't keep a clean sheet so we will need another one at least.

Darren Christie: Arsenal playing with the footie equivalent of one-arm tied behind their back with Mesut Ozil on the pitch.

PJ: These modern footballs are not fair to goalies at all!!! Look at how much that ball swerved in the air! Unbelievable!!

Denham: Tough being a goalkeeper with these modern balls.

Not out of the dressing room yet.

French striker Alexandre Lacazette drifts into the area, but his low shot is blocked by Ashley Young and loops gratefully into the hands of David de Gea.

If you're an Arsenal player now, if you get the ball anywhere near goal you take a shot. It doesn't matter how good David de Gea is, test his nerve.

Rob: Not sure what happened there from de Gea but you won't find any United fans moaning. It happens sometimes.

Richard Browne: De Gea fast asleep - collector’s item that.

Peter Collins: De Gea is a brilliant keeper, but that is a howler. He dived the wrong way for a shot that should never be going in.

David de Gea just went completely the wrong way. It didn't move that much and it has to down as a huge goalkeeping error.

There is a little bit of swerve on the ball but it's no Roberto Carlos is it?!

    Deserved lead for Arsenal.

Initially it looks like a big deflection, but it's gone straight in.

Granit Xhaka has the ball 25 yards out and has a pop which wrong foots David de Gea and nestles into the corner of the net.

De Gea gets up off the turf and motions a 'that ball moved a mile' with his hands.

    Whatever the case, Arsenal lead.

Not sure how Romelu Lukaku managed to miss that. He was only a couple of yards from goal and he's steered it onto the bar somehow. It looked easier to score.

This is a very open game. We're only 10 minutes in and both sides have had good chances.

Very ambitious effort from distance from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. But again it's Mesut Ozil who finds the space for him. It doesn't look like Nemanja Matic nor Fred know who should be picking him up.

Mesut Ozil pings a ball into the feet of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang 30 yards out.

The Gunners front man spins and takes a shot on the bounce which flies a yard over David de Gea's crossbar.

Remember that turn and shot from Thierry Henry past Fabian Barthez all those years ago?

Sead Kolasinac is involved again freeing Pierre-Emerick Aubamenyang, but the Gabon international's cutback is over the crossbar.
