    Leicester 1-0 Fulham

You won't get any time on the ball with Jamie Vardy around, Sergio Rico.

The Fulham goalkeeper takes half a second too long with a clearance allowing Vardy to swarm all round him, but Rico does manage to nick the ball away in time.

    Now then.

If you couldn't be bothered to scroll down to read the description of how Everton conceded the pen, then let us summarise.

    • Cross into the area
    • Jordan Pickford fails to catch the ball
    • Salomon Rondon is lurking behind
    • Salomon Rondon is hauled down by Pickford.

From the replay it looked as if Pickford made no attempt to retrieve the ball and instead chose to bring down the man.

By the letter of the law that is a red.

Players committing accidental fouls that deny a goalscoring chance will be cautioned.

Deliberate fouls will still incur a red card.

Those include holding, pulling or pushing, not playing the ball, serious foul play, violent conduct or deliberate handball in order to deny a goalscoring opportunity.

    Thoughts?

Diving can be fixed. You look at that and Hernandez dived. Give a penalty to the opposing team. Forget the fines and the yellow card. If your teammates see you diving and the opposing team are awarded a penalty you wouldn't see them do it again.

    Huddersfield 0-1 Bournemouth

Adam Smith, the sort of player you want in your team, a warrior.

The Bournemouth man is chasing a ball down the touchline and then pulls up holding the back of his leg.

Smith goes over off the pitch, but then pops up and drags himself on to make sure play is stopped.

    Very clever.

  6. Tielemans a class actpublished at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2019

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at The King Power Stadium

Brendan Rodgers has already seen the class Youri Tielemans can add. He looks like a player right up his street.

The Belgian has produced high quality passes and even showed a touch of composure when scoring a relatively simple goal. He's a player of real vision.

Suspect Rodgers has already checked the terms of his loan arrangement.

So far this is all very routine for Rodgers' new side, although they will want to make their superiority pay with a second.

    Cardiff 1-0 West Ham

Have I said Youri Tielemans is a #baller?

What a player he is. Why did no other club go in for him in January?

The Belgium midfielder exchanges passes with Jamie Vardy with a delightful flick, but then his low strike is easy for Sergio Rico to gather.

    Mark Schwarzer

    Southampton are still living dangerously.

They are quite slow in transition and picking up the Tottenham runners, especially Lucas Moura.

There has got to be more communication.

  10. CLOSE!published at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2019

    Leicester 1-0 Fulham

Youri Tielemans is running this game for Leicester.

He receives a pass after clever work by Demarai Gray and curls a shot at goal which is parried by Sergio Rico, but no Leicester player is following up and the Spanish goalkeeper can gather at the second attempt.

    Garth Crooks

Pickford has made up for that error because he has had an absolute nightmare moments before. Rafa Benitez must be beside himself, there is no legislation for this - if they can’t convert penalties they won’t win games.

Everton 2-0 up away from home and the game is practically over.

Leicester wondering how they have only scored one today.

That 100th goal is still proving elusive for Jami Vardy, seeing his shot from close range blocked by Joe Bryan's sliding challenge.

From the corner, Ben Chilwell loops a long range strike straight into the hands of Fulham goalkeeper Sergio Rico.

    Richarlison (32 mins)

It looks like one of those days for the Magpies.

Just moments after Matt Ritchie misses from the spot, Everton score at the other end.

Andre Gomes drills in a cross ball from the right, Martin Dubravka palms the ball away but only into the path of Richarlison who tucks home.

    Southampton 0-1 Tottenham

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Fulham keeper on BBC Radio 5 Live sports extra

It was like a training ground goal.

Looked like Harry Kane didn't see the run from Dele Alli but then he continued his own run, it was a really good ball over from Alli and it was a great goal with his second touch.

It had been coming and there was never any doubt that it would happen.

He looked so cool and calm.
