Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers on BBC Sportsound: "I thought it was a good performance. I thought we managed the game very well. Just once or twice we were a bit loose with our passing and giving it away under pressure. But I thought we controlled the game.
"They’ve played a diamond here before - they played 3-5-2. So they're maybe thinking they’ve come here before and played well with a diamond. Maybe expected Mallan to start. But I thought we played well and played through the pressure.
"I think Emilio (Izaguirre) got away with that one. A very clumsy tackle by the young Hibs player (Darnell Johnson) and I think it scared him a wee bit on the ankle where he’s had issues before. But the medical team are telling me that they think he’s probably just got away with it. It’s a bit sore but we’re just need to assess it over the next couple of days."

FT: Aberdeen 2-4 Rangers
Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has no complaints with the red cards and penalties awarded at Pittodrie but thinks his side should have had a second spot-kick for an Allan McGregor challenge on Lewis Ferguson.
"Scott McKenna has his hand up for offside, it's not a deliberate hand ball but his hand is in an unnatural position," he says of the first penalty.
"Both penalty decisions are probably right. For the red card, Scott has probably been guilty of a bit of naivety."
Should the McGregor challenge have been a penalty?
"Absoultely," says McInnes. "Coming out with studs up like that is dangerous. It's a foul regardless of whether he has a pair of gloves on.
"Morelos was fantastic in leading the line for them. That quality he has was obvious. It was a pretty even game but he made the difference. When he got sent off, we were the better team.
"It's a sore one but there's 13 games to go and we'll dust ourselves down. I feel that we will get better but there's no real room for error."
FT: St Mirren 1-2 Motherwell
St Mirren defender Jack Baird was none too happy at being replaced in the first half, as manager Oran Kearney changed his formation with the Paisley side trailing 1-0.
Kearney says he will not speak to Baird "until tomorrow".
"At that point, emotions were running high," Kearney told BBC Radio Scotland.
"It was of no detriment to how Jack was playing, it was purely tactical in relation to, I didn’t want to wait until half-time and possibly leave us in a worse position. I felt we had to make that change straight away to make sure we stayed in the game.
"We were disappointed with the start, we deservedly got our goal, it lifts the crowd and we expect a grandstand finish. Our goal seemed to zap energy from us rather than give us energy. We just didn’t gather that momentum we wanted."

FT: Hamilton 2-1 St Johnstone
Hamilton head coach Brian Rice: “I’m absolutely delighted. It’s my first win as a head coach.
"It’s a day I’ll never forget but they deserved it - the effort they put in, doing everything I asked of them, playing forward, being positive, playing with a smile on their face, crosses, shots. Just go and play when you can but play to a structure.
“Everybody to a man fought their corner, won their headers, won their tackles and when they made a mistake, they recovered and that’s all I ask of them.
"It’s massive for confidence right through the club, right through the town. I want to give them confidence to play, I don’t want them to be overconfident.”

Motherwell manager Stephen Robinson on BBC Radio Scotland: "We were excellent for the first 20 minutes, could have scored a couple more, and when we scored we took our foot off the gas a little bit.
"When they scored, again we lifted it completely. The substitutes, Carl McHugh and Elliott Frear, who set up the goal, did very well and gave us a little bit more impetus going forward. We thoroughly deserved to win it – I didn’t feel any threat in the second half, we were well in control.
"Jake Hastie is a good young boy making his way in the game – let’s not get too excited too early. He’s a great kid, feet on the ground, and we’ll keep pushing and developing him."

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard tells Sky Sports: "Obviously I’m delighted the win. I thought we stood up to them and matched them on the basics very well. We took our goals ever so well.
"Morelos’ finishes are top drawer and that’s the reason we love him so much.
"In terms of the incidents I haven’t seen them to comment on. I can’t even comment to say Scott McKenna deserves a red because I haven’t had a chance to see it.
"James Tavenier’s is a penalty. I think the referee got it right.
"This gives us a little breathing space but we know Derek McInnes will keep pushing until the end. Aberdeen have been in great form. We know they’re not going to go away. It’s an important victory for us. We’ve a cup game at the weekend and we want to get into the next round and keep pushing on in the league and see what happens."

Hearts manager Craig Levein uses "frustrated" a lot during his short interview on Sportsound as Hearts stay three points behind Kilmarnock in fourth place.
"We're kicking ourselves because we had an opportunity to close the gap on the sides above us," he says.
"But Livi are well organised, aggressive, they know what they are doing.
"The good side for me is that Uche Ikpeazu came on and looked like he'd never been away."

A point apiece is is probably the right outcome, with Dundee playing some blistering stuff in the first half but fading a little after the break. Kilmarnock did well to twice come back from behind, and will be grateful Kenny Miller couldn’t make the most of that brilliant chance to give the hosts all three points from the spot.

When you’re down at the bottom it is imperative you get something from home games but St Mirren’s record in a Paisley is grim. It continued tonight.
They had opportunities but new signings need to get up and running. With their next two league fixtures away to Hearts and Aberdeen following a tough Scottish Cup test against Dundee United, something has to click quickly.
For Motherwell, January has seen something of a resurgence. Winning seems normal now.
