    Andrew Nelson

It's all happening at Dens Park.

Less than two minutes after Kilmarnock's leveller, Andrew Nelson scores his second of the night to restore Dundee's lead.

The striker latches on to a looping deflected clearance from Chris Burke and prods home from the edge of the area. Predatory stuff - again.

GOAL Aberdeen 0-1 Rangerspublished at 20:05 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2019

    Alfredo Morelos

Alfredo Morelos taps home his 22nd of the season, and what an important goal it could prove to be. And he can thank Ryan Kent, who slalomed his way past Shay Logan and unleashed a fierce shot, which Lewis could only parry into the Colombian striker's path.

    Celtic 0-0 Hibernian

Celtic have started well. The heel of Darren McGregor denies Callum McGregor's shot from just outside the box after some nice build-up play. The Hibs defender then comes to the rescue, chesting a loose ball back to his goalkeeper with Simunovic and Burke lurking nearby.

After making the headlines for awarding four penalties to Rangers in their win against St Mirren at the weekend, Andrew Dallas is somewhat less in the spotlight tonight as the fourth official at the Hope Stadium.

    Aberdeen 0-0 Rangers

Borna Barisic curls a pearler of a ball forward and Ryan Jack picks up the ball in the Aberdeen box. He loses possession, gets it back and his cross falls to Alfredo Morelos who drives a shot inches past the far post. What a chance for Rangers.

    Aberdeen 0-0 Rangers

Nice football from Aberdeen. Max Lowe plays a one-two with Greg Stewart and races towards goal, but the Rangers captain James Tavernier is there to snuff out the danger, getting in front of the Dons full-back, who might have pulled the trigger earlier.

  9. goal

GOAL St Mirren 0-1 Motherwellpublished at 19:56 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2019

    Jake Hastie

Oh my goodness. Nineteen-year-old Jake Hastie is flying just now.

After a brilliant double against Livingston on Saturday, the youngster has just netted an absolute screamer to break the deadlock.

Cutting from the right flank, Hastie skipped inside two defenders, before driving a rasping, rising left-foot shot high into the home net. Outstanding.

    Andrew Nelson

    What a start for Dundee!

Andrew Nelson collects a header just inside the Kilmarnock box, squirms away from Kirk Broadfoot, shifts the ball onto his right foot and fires low beyond Daniel Bachmann.

An excellent finish from the former Sunderland striker.

A few minutes earlier, the hosts' Ryan McGowan was booked for scything down Jordan Jones as the winger scampered away on the counterattack.

  13. CLOSE!published at 19:53 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2019

    Aberdeen 0-0 Rangers

The first good chance at Pittodrie falls to Greg Stewart. Andrew Considine flicks it round the corner to him in the box but his first-time shot goes over the bar. He should be hitting the target from there.

    Celtic 0-0 Hibernian

Here's something you don't hear in many pre-match interviews...

Hibs interim coach Eddie May appears to confirm that he has delayed a planned vasectomy.

"I had to postpone an operation to be in the dugout tonight," he tells BBC Sportsound.

"The snip?" asks BBC reporter Brian McLauchlin, who always has the inside scoop.

"Yes it was," replies May. "I was going to have an operation earlier today but I’m in here at the game tonight instead."

  17. Aberdeen have 'size and strength' to get the job donepublished at 19:43 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2019

    Aberdeen v Rangers (19:15)

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes on Sportsound: "We had thought the game was going to come too soon for Scott McKenna but we made the decision to play him this morning. We have enough size and strength in the team to hopefully try and get the job done tonight.

"I’ve picked a team that can adjust to different formations. Rangers' wide players play really narrow so we need to deliver crosses into the box. Hopefully, Mackay-Steven and Lowe can deliver.

"Regardless of where Rangers or Aberdeen are in the league this fixture is a big point in the season. The crowd will generate the atmosphere and the players will feed off that. It’s important we knuckle down and do all we can to win the game and move onto the next one."

  18. 'Go and deliver' Gerrard urges Rangerspublished at 19:42 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2019

    Aberdeen v Rangers (19:45)

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard on Sky Sports: "These are the games where we have to try and take maximum points. The players look ready, we've prepared well. We've got to go and deliver."

On opponents Aberdeen, Gerrard said: "Normally they're very defensive, a very physical side. They're a big threat from set pieces. It's important we don't give away stupid ones and if we do make sure we defend them well enough."

  19. 'Hibs always seem to turn up against Celtic'published at 19:41 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2019

    Celtic v Hibernian (19:45)

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers on BBC Sportsound:

"James Forrest doesn’t make it but great news for him, his scan was clear so he should be okay for the weekend, but tonight was probably a wee bit of a push to get him involved. Dedryck is back in which is great. He’s been top class - just his pace, his power, his experience.

"We were in desperate need of the break and that was just purely down to the games that we’ve played. We put so much into games and the energy. We’ve come back, pressed the reset button, a couple of new players have added energy to us and we’ve been playing very well.

"No matter how Hibs are doing in the league they always seem to turn up to play against Celtic.

"Oliver Burke has got two goals in five appearances. He's been fantastic since he’s come in. Young Timothy (Weah) has been a breath of fresh air. He’s got great enthusiasm for football. He’s always listening, he’s always learning. It’s been great to see. He’s got good pace, a nice touch of the ball and and eye for goal."

  20. Levein expects 'tough evening' for Heartspublished at 19:40 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2019

    Hearts v Livingston (19:45)

Hearts manager Craig Levein on BBC Sportsound: "It’s always a dilemma whether we bring fresh legs into the team. The other night we played a little bit deeper than we normally do. I don’t feel we used as much energy as we normally do. Hence I’ve only made on change (bringing in Olly Lee). The bench is really strong so I feel if we need to make changes to alter the course of the match then we can do that.

"Since John Souttar’s come back I feel we’ve looked stronger in defence and everyone knows the stats when Steven Naismith plays. Hopefully we can carry on from where we left off the other night and pick up the three points. We’ve not had any experience of an easy game against Livingston. We’re in for a tough evening but if we play as we can I’m hopeful."
