Brentford's Sergi Canos has cut large holes in the back of each of his socks so that both his calves are exposed.

It is an unusual look - but it is not doing him any harm.

The former Liverpool player is galloping up and down the right flank here with Brentford on top in the early stages.

John Marquis beats Martin Kelly to the ball on the left and plays it back to Herbie Kane. The on-loan Liverpool midfielder has a pop from outside the box but it flies just wide.

Doncaster persist with another attack but Alfie May's strike from the right is blocked.

Moses Odunajo, who has been a positive outlet for Brentford on the left, cuts inside and fires a shot towards the near post but it's a comfortable save for Kristoffer Nordfeldt.

James Coppinger tries to thread a ball through to John Marquis but Scott Dann uses his strength to block the run.

Palace can break but what they also have in Kelly and Dann, and with Milivojevic, is that they can compete physically really well at set-pieces.

A ball is floated in towards Alfie May after John Marquis won it with a nice run off the shoulder of the defender on the left.

May is muscled out the way though and Palace have a goalkick.

Plenty of action down the left wing for Brentford. No shots on target from either side yet though.

That was a great interception from Milivojevic, then the awareness to pick the pass. It was just what you want from Schlupp, moving beyond Downing but that was brilliant from Schlupp into the far corner. It’s a brilliant start from Palace.

Doncaster try to respond immediately as Danny Andrew links up with John Marquis on the edge of the box but the return pass is overcooked and Wayne Hennessey can come out and gather.

I’d like to see more of Jordan Ayew today, they talk about Andros Townsend, but Ayew can take players on and has talent. It must be something Roy Hodgson has targeted today – get it to Ayew and get him into the game.

Swansea try to break through Daniel James but he's caught late by Yohan Barbet and the Brentford defender goes in the book.

The free-kick from the Swans on the right, just outside the box, comes to George Byers and his shot/cross whips just wide of the far post. Oliver McBurnie was close to getting his head on it.

Swansea have hardly seen the ball so far. It's all Brentford as Sergi Canos brings it forward on the right, tries a few stopovers before his shot is blocked in the box.

There’s a confidence around the Keepmoat that Grant McCann’s side can give Palace a great test. Doncaster have got good ingredients all round. I think it will be an open, entertaining game.
