Either Swansea City or Brentford will make it through to the FA Cup quarter-finals at a sunny Liberty Stadium this afternoon, and that is not a stage either club has reached that often.

Swansea made it last year for the first time since 1964 and just the fourth time in their history.

Brentford, meantime, have not been quarter-finalists in the cup since 1989.

Like Swansea, they have only made it that far on four occasions.

More from Nuno Espirito Santo on Matt Doherty: "He’s fantastic, he has a big heart, he goes up and down and doesn’t rest. He does an important job for us.

"We are very happy with him, it was a big challenge to prove himself in the Premier League and he is doing ever so well."

Wolves goalscorer Ivan Cavaleiro speaking to BT Sport:

"The goal was important, I am very happy to score but most important is the team moves into the next round.

"We‘re doing well in the league , and I hope we can continue like this and hope everything goes well."

I am hearing the Crystal Palace fans delayed by issues on the East Coast Main Line will get here for the game, but its likely they won’t make it until half time.

  5. Batshuayi makes first Palace startpublished at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2019

Doncaster v Crystal Palace (16:00 GMT)

Just the two changes for Doncaster from the side that beat Southend 3-0 in League One on Tuesday as Matty Blair and Alfie May come in for Aaron Lewis and Mallik Wilks.

John Marquis is their main threat, scoring 22 goals in all competitions so far in 2018-19.

Doncaster Rovers XI: Marosi, Blair, Downing, Anderson, Andrew, Crawford, Whiteman, Kane, Coppinger, Marquis, May.

Roy Hodgson makes six changes from the Crystal Palace side that began the 1-1 draw with West Ham on 9 February. Wayne Hennessey returns in goal and Michy Batshuayi starts a match for the Eagles for the first time since his loan move from Chelsea on the final day of the transfer window.

Elsewhere, there are also starts for Joel Ward, Scott Dann, Jordan Ayew and Max Meyer. Wilfried Zaha is unavailable after failing in his appeal against an additional one-match ban following his red card at Southampton.

Crystal Palace XI: Hennessey, Ward, Kelly, Dann, Van Aanholt, Townsend, Milivojevic, Meyer, Schlupp, Ayew, Batshuayi.

  7. 'It was a moment of joy'published at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2019

    FT: Bristol City 0-1 Wolves

    Wolves

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo speaking to BT Sport: "I’m very happy, it was very tough, but I’m happy for fans and it was a moment of joy.

"We try to find solutions, but it was hard when they put so many behind the ball and with long balls into the box all the time.

"In the first half they gave us space, we had space and the chances to score, but then they changed it and they are a tough team.

Asked about who they want next...

"I would like to play at Molineux if I could ask for something."

  8. Team newspublished at 15:18 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2019

    Swansea v Brentford (16:00 GMT)

Graham Potter has made only two changes to the side which started at Leeds in midweek, and the big news for Swansea is that top scorer Oli McBurnie is fit enough to start after illness.

The other change sees Kristoffer Nordfeldt given a game in goal as Erwin Mulder drops to the bench.

Swansea City XI: Nordfeldt, Naughton, van der Hoorn, Carter-Vickers, Roberts, Fulton, Grimes, Byers, Celina, James, McBurnie

Thomas Frank makes just one alteration to the Brentford team which won at Aston Villa last time out.

Luke Daniels plays in goal with Dan Bentley among the substitutes. Leading scorer Neal Maupay spearheads an in-form Bees side.

Brentford XI: Daniels, Konsa, Jeanvier, Barbet, Canos, Mokotjo, Sawyers, Odubajo, Watkins, Benrahma, Maupay.

  9. 'Deny a memorable story'published at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2019

Doncaster v Crystal Palace (16:00 GMT)

    Steve Bower
    Match of the Day commentator

Opportunity certainly knocks. What a chance for Doncaster Rovers to write a special chapter in their history and reach the FA Cup quarter-finals for the first time.

However, it would be only a second appearance in 24 years in the last eight for Crystal Palace and, with many of the big boys absent, increase their dream of another day at Wembley.

Having just got past Grimsby and then knocked out Tottenham, Roy Hodgson will be aware that his team's attitude has to be right to progress and deny Doncaster a memorable story.

Rovers will fancy their chances in this tie - they are going well in League One, they are at home and there will be a great atmosphere.

Crystal Palace will be ready, though. Defensively they are very well organised and I think attack-wise they have been playing well of late too.

    Prediction: 0-1

Wolves captain Conor Coady speaking to BT Sport:

"It was a frantic second half, we knew it was going to be tough. I thought we dominated in the first half, but we stuck in there and showed we could defend.

"We knew we‘d have defend. Sometimes you have got to dig in.

"We wanted to keep the same system as last year, we have a manager who’s got an identity for this and we wanted to stick with that."
