Australia 3-2 Brazil
Before this game, Brazil had not conceded in a group game at the Women's World Cup since 2003.
They've let in three goals in 20-odd minutes in Montpellier.

Don't see how the ref can say either Kerr wasn't interfering in that move, or that it was a separate phase. Nonsense decision.

When Marta last touched the ball, Brazil were winning.
They look a shadow of the side that stormed into a 2-0 lead but you wouldn't rule out another twist in this absorbing game.
Most of the Montpellier crowd are loving it.

Elvistheblue: That has to be offside. Why is that not offside? You're not telling me the Aussie wasn't interfering with play, surely.
Darren Shepherd: This is getting ridiculous. Surely, that was offside; the player the pass was made to was offside, the defender that scored the own goal was defending against an offside player.

Four own goals at the Women's World Cup now - and dollops of VAR controversy!

What a comeback from Australia. They've gone a lot more direct in the second half and Brazil's indecision has cost them. Monica should have done better with the defensive header. I think it was the right decision (to let the goal stand).
Australia 3-2 Brazil
VAR or not, this has been an incredible comeback from Australia.
Their World Cup dream looked dead and buried in the first half.
Now they are within sight of a crucial win.

Wow! First, there were wild celebrations, all around. Then came the boos as the Australians realised, with agony, that it might not stand.
Next, bizarrely, some supporters started a Mexican wave, while they waited for the VAR decision, which got huge cheers as it eventually went full circle.
And then came even bigger roars as the referee finally gave the signal for a goal. What a crazy two minutes here.
Monica (own goal)
Aussie jubilation. Brazilian VAR agony!
Another Women's World Cup own goal, another controversial VAR decision.
A long ball is pumped into Brazil's penalty area and it comes off the head of Monica, who is marking Sam Kerr, and flies past her own keeper into the net.
There is a delay of around three minutes while the referee looks at the incident on a TV screen to check for offside before the celebratons can really begin.
Australia 2-2 Brazil
This really is on a knife edge. Chances at both ends, two teams giving it a right good go. Is there another goal in this?

Another belting game dripping in incident. And still a good half an hour to go.

Some nice play with triangles created that overload in the wide area and it's a fantastic ball in. Sam Kerr didn't touch it but if you hit it into the danger area like that then anything can happen.

The Aussies believe they can go on and win this now. They've shown terrific spirit to come back like this.
Chloe Logarzo
From 2-0 down to 2-2!
Brilliant by Chloe Logarzo, who beats Barbara from distance with an instinctive effort. Sam Kerr tries to claim it but replays show the ball went in without a deflection.
Australia's fans don't care who scored. Their side are back from the dead!

I'd really like Australia's centre-backs to step out and drive forward with the ball. Their play's all a bit predictable at the moment.
Australia 1-2 Brazil
Brazil are happy for Australia to enjoy plenty of possession.
The Aussies have put together 293 passes to Brazil's 239 so far but they're not really making an impact in the final third.

'Aussie, Aussie, Aussie - Oi, Oi, Oi' rings around the stands.
The Matildas need a huge second-half performance.
