    Sam Kerr

An absolute shocker. Nicole McClure won't ever want to see this again.

The Jamaican keeper receives a simple pass back from Konya Plummer but panics when Sam Kerr is chasing her down.

She ends up kicking air instead of the ball and Kerr comes bounding in and pokes into an open net.

    Jamaica 1-3 Australia

Here's what that Brazilian goal has done to the Group C table. Australia will go through as one of the best third-placed teams.

Another goal for the Matildas will see them move level with Brazil on goal difference but move ahead on goals scored.

Whether news of that has filtered through to the players, I'm not sure...

  19. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 79 mins

    Jamaica 1-3 Australia

Sam Kerr chases a loose ball in the area and Nicole McClure is really struggling to get there.

Kerr's toe pushes the ball away and she goes down under apparent contact but VAR shows the keeper doesn't touch her and it's a slip.

    Jamaica 1-3 Australia

Khadija Shaw is still causing problems for Australia. She gets past Emily van Egmond and the midfielder just drags her to the ground.

Straight into the book. No questions asked.
