Eight own goals at the Women's World Cup sets a new record, beating the previous high of six in 2015.

And we've only just finished the group stages.

    Sweden 0-2 USA

    Casey Stoney
Manchester United Women manager on BBC Four

The second goal absolutely should not have stood, I don't know if I don't understand the laws or the laws are just wrong.

Carli Lloyd is offside and that is just wrong. Linda Sembrant has to play the ball because of Lloyd's run in behind.

If it impacts the defender's decision to play the ball, it has to be classed as offside.

    Sweden 0-2 USA

This will give the USA a lot of confidence going into the knockout stages.

    FT: Sweden 0-2 USA

    Tom Garry
BBC Sport at Stade Oceane, Le Havre

The American fans roar their approval after another good win.

The Sweden fans are still bouncing and waving their flags behind the goal away to our left, despite their team's loss.

There's plenty of respect between these two sides.

Chile beat Thailand... but only 2-0. So they miss out on a last-16 place by one goal. Nigeria take the final spot for third-placed teams.

    Sweden corner. Headed away.

Lina Hurtig almost has a chance but her first touch is poor and US keeper Alyssa Naeher is off her line to take the ball off her feet. Inches away from a penalty.

USA keeper Alyssa Naeher pumps one long. Not long to go.

The USA are in control. Carli Lloyd in the box. This game is petering out big time.

Seven minutes added on. Bit surprised it's that much. Incidentally that's the same amount of time added on in Chile v Thailand.

  17. Postpublished at 90 mins

    Sweden 0-2 USA

This should be 3-0. Carli Lloyd is played in one on one but her shot is straight at the torso of Hedvig Lindahl.

    Sweden 0-2 USA

    Emma Hayes
Chelsea Women manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

Sweden would have learned a lot about how to start a game. Their starting 11 should do better than this, but America have been much more dominant.

    Sweden 0-2 USA

This has about 1% of the tension in the Cameroon v New Zealand game earlier.
