    Sweden 0-1 USA

Good wing play by Megan Rapinoe. She has plenty of space to pick out Rose Lavelle.

Lavelle's first touch, on her shin, is unorthodox but she controls the ball and her deflected shot is saved by Sweden's keeper.

There is not much action on the left-hand side for Sweden, it has all been down Sweden's right.

A really good phase of play from Sweden.

They put good pressure and showed good intensity, they forced Crystal Dunn into a mistake but Sofia Jakobsson had a tough angle to score from.

    Sweden 0-1 USA

A pretty decent chance for Sweden. Crystal Dunn loses the ball and it lands at the feet of Sofia Jakobsson, who shoots high and wide from near the corner of the box. Let-off for the USA.

The camera shows a USA fan waving her phone with a 10 euro note in the back of her phone case. I thought I'd invented that idea myself.

Throw-in to Sweden. A year to the day since that Iran guy at the men's World Cup. Sadly Sweden take an orthodox throw.

Alex Morgan is fouled by Linda Sembrant from behind as the US star goes to control a ball. Morgan limps away but it will take more than that to stop her.

Swing... and a miss as an American player puts Kosovare Asllani off as she goes to kick the ball. The US have it back.

It will be really interesting to get Hope Solo's views on Sweden goalkeeper Hedvig Lindahl at half time.

She is a great leader, dominant, a big game player and she produces in the right moments.

    Tonight something is off.

Kelley O'Hara whips in a cross from the right, which Sweden keeper Hedvig Lindahl parries when maybe she could have caught.

Lindahl is a free agent after leaving Chelsea.

The fans in yellow have been chanting 'Sverige... Sverige' over and over. That's 'Sweden', to you and me.

Meanwhile, the USA fans are singing a variation of 'When the saints go marching in'.

    It's lively.

Tobin Heath finds Rose Lavelle, who cuts inside and shoots high and wide on her left foot. She could have taken more time on that.

  14. 'Too much space'published at 20:30 British Summer Time 20 June 2019

    Sweden 0-1 USA

    Emma Hayes

America have good movement and exceptional fitness, but they have been afforded too much space in this game. Tobin Heath is one of the best players in the world.

America are looking dangerous from the set pieces and Sweden need to slow the game down and take the sting out of them.

When America are in full-flow they are unstoppable. This team really does have it all.

Tobin Heath, with a name which belongs in an 1800s British drama, gets around the defence again but her low cross is blocked.

It's a corner, which the keeper just about gathers.

Novis: USA are too composed, quick and skilled for any team to match. They have to be the favourites to win the cup.

From a Swedish perspective, Jonna Andersson has to put a tackle in. It is like someone has told her she is not allowed to do that.

Tobin Heath can have three touches of the ball and run at her.

Why was there a VAR check for offside for the USA goal? I thought you can't be offside as the ball is deemed to have been played backwards.

    Confused, Southend

The assist didn't come directly from the corner, there was another US touch on the way

Sweden just can't get out, but it is difficult, we're talking about playing against the best team.
