Exclusively revealed by his dad, Derek, on Sportsound, Lewis Ferguson is close to agreeing a two-year contract extension at Aberdeen.

    Quote Message

He's just about to sign the new contract. They've been in talks and he's more than happy to put pen to paper. It could be done some time next week. He's loving life at Aberdeen, it's a no-brainer. They want to extend it by a couple of years.

  7. What. A. Miss.published at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February 2019

    Aberdeen 1-1 St Mirren

Aberdeen should be in front... Greg Stewart collects a Sam Cosgrove flick on and slides the ball across goal to Niall McGinn, who somehow puts it over the top from 12 yards.

  8. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February 2019

    Hibernian 1-0 Hamilton

Another superb delivery from the left flank from Daryl Horgan, whose inswinging right-footed cross finds the back of the head - or maybe the back - of Florian Kamberi, and loops onto the bar.

Accies keeper Gary Woods, who had come out and failed to claim the cross, scrambles back to gather and almost slides over the line with the ball in his hands, just managing to apply the breaks in time.

    Livingston 1-0 Dundee

It must be frustrating for Dundee - a man up but a goal down.

Martin Woods fires a free-kick over the crossbar as Livingston withstand a wee spell of pressure from the visitors.

    Lewis Ferguson

Bit of confusion about this one. A corner is played short and swung in, there's a stramash at the front post, the ball runs through to Ferguson who knocks it in.

    Aberdeen 0-1 St Mirren

    Alasdair Lamont
    BBC Sport Scotland at Pittodrie

There are a couple of hundred St Mirren fans up at Pittodrie and for the first time in a long time they have something to cheer about. Their side has begun the game the well and look well organised, with Anton Ferdinand marshalling the five-man defence.

Aberdeen have started slowly and can have no complaints about being behind.

    Hibernian 1-0 Hamilton

A long ball into the Accies box has defender Ziggy Gordon in trouble as he lets the ball bounce, but Hibs striker Marc McNulty foolishly tugs the toiling full-back to let the visitors off the hook as referee Alan Muir awards them a free-kick.

  13. Postpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February 2019

    Rangers 0-0 St Johnstone

Rangers are ramping up the pressure and former Ibrox goalkeeper Cammy Bell does well to hold a header from close range by Connor Goldson.

Glen Kamara is next to try his luck, but another former Rangers man, Richard Foster, blocks in front of goal.

  14. CLOSE!published at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February 2019

    Aberdeen 0-1 St Mirren

Greg Stewart latches on to a through ball and just has the goalkeeper to beat, but Vaclav Hladky does brilliantly to race out and smother his shot. Concern here for Aberdeen as Stewart has stayed on the turf after that challenge. He looks in some pain.

    Livingston 1-0 Dundee

    Jonathan Sutherland
BBC Sport Scotland at the Tony Macaroni Arena

It has been all Dundee up to this point with Livingston also reduced to 10 men, so real surprise that the home side have taken the lead. But the Livingston philosophy never changes - play the game in the opposition half, and it pays off again.

A long throw-in is flicked on to the back post and Craig Halkett leading like a captain should, firing his side ahead against the run of play.

Dundee fill be furious given the chances they have squandered.

Daniel Candeias and Ryan Kent work a short corner and the former lashes a drive over the crossbar from just outside the penalty box as Rangers begin to exert some pressure.
