There's a big Carney contingent on the front row, just to the side of the dugouts, and they all rose to their feet as they watched the forward come on to play for the final time.

Sweden are happy to let England have the ball in front of them.It is like attack versus defence at times and the balls have to be absolutely accurate.

Sweden have used all their substitutes and we are only 70 minutes in. Risky perhaps in this heat and with this scoreline?

Remember - they get a fourth sub if it goes to extra time.

Michael: I've spent most of the game shouting at the Lionesses. No structure, poor ball retention and no communication, so similar to the England men's team of 3 yrs ago.

England defender Abbie McManus looks like she's struggling with tight muscles in her legs.

Jill Scott does so well to win a free-kick on the left. England take it quickly and Fran Kirby dashes into the box.

She gets there ahead of the keeper and pokes it over Hedvig Lindahl but Jodie Taylor doesn't commit and there's nobody there to tap it in.

James: Where has this Fran Kirby been in all our other games??

Andrew: England are huffing and puffing again and will come up short. They're missing that bit of quality to score a goal let alone two.

This is much, much better from England.

Lucy Bronze makes a run around the back down the right. Her cross is blocked at the near post and out for a corner.

It's flicked on by Steph Houghton but it's always going way over.
